- Charles Jordan, her biological father, died on August 10, 2000 in Louisa, Kentucky. He was 56. Judd grew up believing that Michael Ciminella, father of her half-sister, Ashley, was her father. She learned that Jordan was her real father several years ago, but the two never met.

- In June 2018, Wynonna's daughter Grace Pauline Kelley was sentenced eight years of prison for violation her probation period. She pleaded guilty for possession, manufacturing and distribution of meth. Kelley was granted parole and was released from the West Tennessee State Penitentiary six years early on November 8, 2019.
