The Justice Department released the ‘Epstein Binder’, which contained documents like a contact list, flight logs, and other evidence related to s*x predator Jeffrey Epstein. U.S. President Donald Trump once maintained close ties with the disgraced financier. However, Trump’s name did not appear in the contact list released, and there is no proof that he was on the infamous ‘Epstein List’.

The new document contains no significant new information pertaining to the case. The President’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, and his former wife, Ivana Trump, were among those listed as Epstein’s contact. However, the document didn’t imply that anyone in the contact list was associated with Epstein’s crimes.

YouTube says podcasts now draw 1 billion monthly active viewers, a new sign of the Google-owned video giant’s scale and room for more growth as it embarks on its third decade.
The figure is extrapolated from another statistic, which found that more than 400 million hours of podcasts were seen monthly on living room devices in 2024. The company has previously asserted that it is now the most frequently used outlet for podcasts in the U.S.
YouTube has steadily been gaining overall share of viewing via TV sets as more viewers turn to streaming and cut the traditional pay-tv cord, according to Nielsen. Viewing of YouTube programming via a TV set has overtaken mobile and laptop viewing as the most popular form of viewing, a striking turn of events as the company marks its 20th anniversary.

It looks like the truth might be coming out after all. After Elon Musk once made bold claims stating that Donald Trump would disclose the names of celebrities involved in the Epstein Island mess if elected President, the world has been wondering if there would be a follow-up or not. If Donald Trump decides to go ahead and release the documents, it would not only put the careers of many in jeopardy but would also reveal some dark secrets of the industry we couldn’t possibly have known otherwise.

YouTube continues to be the dominant player in ad-supported streaming, reporting Q4 advertising revenue of $10.5 billion, up from $9.2 billion a year ago, and surging past $10B in a quarter for the first time.
YouTube reported ad revenue of $8.9 billion in Q3.
The Google-owned video platform is by far the biggest player in ad-supported streaming video, and frankly streaming overall, with the latest Nielsen Gauge report showing that YouTube comprised more than 11 percent of all TV viewing.
According to Google chief business officer Philipp Schindler, the 2024 presidential election was a major driver in ad revenue.
“YouTube advertising revenues was driven by strong spend on US election advertising with combined spend from both parties almost doubling from what we saw in the 2020 elections,” Schindler told Wall Street analysts.
He also noted the platform’s success in attracting podcasters, many of whom publish video versions of their shows on YouTube.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s long and tumultuous road to Donald Trump’s Cabinet faced its toughest test on Wednesday, when the vaccine conspiracy theorist and former presidential candidate appeared before the Senate Finance Committee to defend his nomination as Health and Human Services secretary.
Once a staunch critic of Trump, Kennedy ran a failed third party bid for the presidency that ended with an endorsement of Trump, and Trump pledging to let Kennedy oversee the health care policies of his administration.

Updated, with additional details: One of President Donald Trump’s most controversial cabinet picks, Robert Kennedy Jr., repeatedly insisted that he was not “anti-vaccine” at his confirmation hearing to be the next secretary of health and human services.
But during a morning of testimony today before the Senate Finance Committee, to Democrats presented a bevy of Kennedy’s past comments in which he sowed doubt or disparaged Covid shots and other inoculations. They also pressed him on other health claims and attacked him for what they saw as a shifting position on abortion rights.
Sitting behind Kennedy at the hearing was his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, and in the next row was podcast host Megyn Kelly, who repeatedly slammed the Biden administration for its Covid policies.
“News reports have claimed that I am anti-vaccine or anti-industry,” Kennedy told the committee in his opening remarks. “I am neither.”

The list of celebrities that are being named alongside Diddy has been getting longer and longer. The most recent addition to this seems to be Drake. However, for the first time this year, the singer has been put on the right side of the situation. It would seem that the two music moguls have been at odds with each other for many years now, having some very public altercations.

Back in 2023, the news broke that Matthew McConaughey could become part of the ever-expanding "Yellowstone" universe, with the actor said to be eyeing a role in the spin-off series "The Madison." Sadly, McConaughey later dropped out of the project, with "The Madison" now set to be fronted by Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer. No doubt the legendary stars will be more than capable of carrying the series, but it does seem like a missed opportunity to get McConaughey into a show that seems tailor made to support his Texan charm — especially since it's written by proud Lone Star State scribe Taylor Sheridan.
Alas, it seems for now fans of the "Yellowstone" saga and its spin-offs will be McConaughey-less for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, however, the mothership series itself is gearing up for the launch of what could very well be its final ever episodes, with the long-awaited season...

Podcaster Joe Rogan declared on social media that he did not intend to endorse independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
On August 8, Rogan said on his podcast that politicians on the left and right “gaslight” and “manipulate” people. He also said politicians on both sides “promote narratives” before adding that “the only one not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”
Rogan then admitted that he is “a fan” of the independent presidential candidate. “He’s the only one that makes sense to me,” the podcaster asserted. “He’s the only one that doesn’t attack people; he attacks actions and ideas, but he’s much more reasonable and intelligent. Kanye West Is As Controversial As They Come
There are few names in the world today that inspire admiration, envy, and hate, depending on who you ask. When speaking of Kanye West, he is exactly this sort of polarizing figure. People either love him or hate him, and there is very little in between.
No matter where Kanye goes or what he does, he is that eccentric type of personality who never backs down from stirring the pot. Since becoming a father, his edge has softened a little compared to years ago. However, there’s no question that controversy continues to follow him wherever he goes.

When speaking about The Elder Scrolls franchise, two games that can’t be left out of the conversation are Oblivion and Morrowind. Both have set the standard for a good Elder Scrolls game and are counted among some of the best RPGs ever.
The two may have a dedicated fanbase that can wax poetic about everything great in the games and how one built off the other, but there are some clear distinctions between the titles. One of these is the formula they use, and why Todd Howard felt it could be used only once till now.
Oblivion’s Narrative Formula Is Unlike Any Other Elder Scrolls Installment Oblivion‘s story structure is unique in the franchise.

Having been found not guilty after standing trial for sex offenses, actor Kevin Spacey is working on a comeback, signing on to star in multiple movies, doing convention appearances, and sitting down for interviews – including one for the Lex Fridman podcast. During his conversation with Fridman, Spacey was asked what it was like to work on director David Fincher’s 1995 film Seven – or Se7en, if you prefer – in which he played the serial killer known only as John Doe. Spacey’s answer gives an interesting look into the making of a film that many consider to be a classic.
Spacey confirmed to Fridman that he did not originally get the part of John Doe. Someone else was cast in the role… then, soon after filming began, Spacey got a call telling him that Fincher had fired the actor who had been cast and wanted Spacey to report to set. So he did.

Almost a year before Starfield‘s release, Todd Howard talked about the decision to sacrifice certain graphical aspects in a game, including a 60 Fps experience, for player agency. And a year later, Starfield launched with a 30 Fps cap on Xbox consoles. It has been eight months since the game’s release, and while the game enjoyed all the hype around its release, this decision came under scrutiny.
Ever since the game was announced at the Xbox Showcase, there were constant discussions about Bethesda’s decision to cap the game at 30 Fps. The creative choice made by the developers sparked a lot of controversial debates.

Exclusive: Foundation Media Partners has secured the exclusive life and book rights of the FBI, Secret Service, and U.S. Marshals’ most-wanted con man Matthew Cox. The company will immediately begin developing both scripted and non-scripted limited series around Cox’s life and infamous exploits, as a mortgage fraudster who stole more than $50 million, beginning in the early 2000s.
Formerly a licensed mortgage broker and brokerage business owner, as well as an admitted scammer, fraudster, and con man, Cox’s criminal case received national media attention after he used forgeries, combined with stolen and synthetic identities, to bilk America’s largest banks out of an estimated $55 million. Despite numerous encounters with bank security, state and federal authorities, Cox narrowly evaded capture for nearly a decade. Eventually, he topped the Secret Service’s most wanted list, and led the U.S. Marshals, FBI, and the Secret Service on a three-year chase,...

Donald Trump‘s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, faced a barrage of criticism on social media after she shared a clip of her husband Jared Kushner‘s 2023 October interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, where Kushner emphasized the need to try different paths when faced with challenges.
Kushner said, “I just think it’s just something where, if you want to accomplish something, you know, a lot of people, I hear, complain about what other people do or why it’s hard, or why it’s impossible.”
While Kushner acknowledged that he has been blessed throughout his life, he maintained that when he encountered challenges or goals, he would just focus and say, ‘What can I do?’…It’s just, if you want to accomplish something, you just have to go for it.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. once again spread unfounded claims regarding the Covid-19 and the vaccine.
“So you have gained notoriety for your skepticism about vaccines,” CNN anchor Kasie Hunt told Kennedy during a recent interview.
“And over the summer, in an interview, you said, quote, ‘There’s no vaccine that is, you know, safe and effective.’ Do you still believe that?” she asked.
“I never said –,” Kennedy stated before Hunt cut him off.
“So, stop me, we have the clip. Please play the clip,” Hunt declared.
“Play the whole clip,” Kennedy requested.
Hunt then played the clip of him and Lex Fridman talking during a recorded interview on July 5.
Fridman and Kennedy discussed that the media has been slamming Rfk Jr. for being anti-vaccine. Kennedy then claimed that he is not anti-vaccine but is instead “pro-safe vaccine.”
“Difficult question. Can you name any vaccines that you think are good?” Fridman asked.

Taylor Swift is celebrating her newfound status as Spotify’s Global Top Artist with a surprise of her own: The massively popular singer-songwriter has just officially released the previously hard-to-find fan favorite song “You’re Losing Me.”
The song, now widely available on streaming services, is the latest of Swift’s “from the vault” releases – tracks that didn’t make her official studio albums. “You’re Losing Me,” which Swift co-wrote with producer Jack Antonoff, was initially released last May only on the “Late Night Edition” CD of Swift’s 2022 album Midnights and in a digital version exclusively at her web store.
This morning, Swift posted on X/Twitter, “Um ok this is unreal?? I just wanted to say to anyone who listened to my music this year, anywhere in the world, thank you. Getting named Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2023 is truly the best birthday/holiday gift you could’ve given me.

Mark Zuckerberg is a billionaire, and billionaires have their hobbies. That’s probably why the public was not particularly surprised — if nonetheless amused — to see viral images of the Facebook founder zipping around bodies of water on a hydrofoil or electric surfboard, sometimes wearing a ludicrous amount of sunscreen. It’s exactly what a wealthy geek should be doing in his leisure time.
But that was years ago. In 2023, Zuckerberg began making decidedly different headlines with a new pastime: Brazilian jiujitsu. Competing in his first tournament in the Silicon Valley town of Woodside,...

San Francisco, June 26 (Ians) Dubbed as the fight of the century, the anticipated showdown between Twitter-owner Elon Musk and Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg could still happen, in jiu jitsu style.
Musk had earlier tweeted that he would be “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, to which the latter posted a screenshot of the Tesla CEO’s tweet with the caption “send me location”.
Last week, in a series of tweets, Elon Musk’s mother Maye said that it is a “great relief” that “the fight has now been cancelled”.
But on Sunday, Lex Fridman, host of the famous Lex Fridman Podcast, posted a video of him training jiu jitsu with Zuckerberg.
“I look forward to training with @elonmusk as well. It’s inspiring to see both Elon and Mark taking on the martial arts journey,” he said in an indication that the fight between Musk and Zuckerberg might still happen.
