Megyn Kelly is coming to Go90. The Verizon-owned streaming service has ordered six 22-minute episodes of “Embeds,” a political comedy that follows five young reporters on the campaign trail, and the Fox News anchor will be an executive producer on the series. Kelly won’t be running the show, however. Todd Waldman, who most recently served as an executive producer for “Single by 30,” a YouTube Red original series starring Harry Shum Jr. (“Glee”), will be heading up the production. The presence of the dude database, in response to the phonebook, flipped the script on the relations between the students up until the end of last week’s episode, as Jenna’s deletion accidentally revealed her involvement to the student body. This week’s episode sees Jenna deal with the repercussions of being blamed for the poor relations between students, an issue she tries to remedy with mixed results, in an episode that amounts to less than the sum of its parts.
While Lissa’s storyline in the second half of the season has previously fallen flat, this week’s episode manages to make it interesting for the first time. The removal of both Tyler and Lissa’s parents have put the focus on Lissa,...

Airs Tuesdays at 10pm Est on MTV
Over the past few weeks, a new relationship combined with continuing senior year woes have left Jenna eager to leave high school behind and go to college. This desire was further elevated last week as Jenna had a less-than-pleasant time with Matty and the rest of the group. This week’s episode sees Jenna get a glimpse of the unglamorous side of college, in a fun outing that potentially starts Matty down a new path.
Matty’s journey towards coping with his adoption continues to be a fascinating aspect of the season. To date, the only people he has been open and honest with about his adoption have been Jenna and Sadie, both of whom have been more concerned with being a friend. Opening up to his cellmate,...

Paramount Vantage options 'Kip'
Paramount Vantage is bent on the vengeance comedy Beat Kip, optioning the screenplay by Summer of Tears comedy troupe co-founders Todd Waldman and Rob Kerkovich and developing the feature with Comedy Central.
"Kip" follows three struggling college graduates who find a purpose in life: to travel across the country to fight an Ivy League student who stole one of their girlfriends.
Waldman and Kerkovich formed the Tears in 2004 and have toured the country ever since, buoyed by more than a dozen online shorts.
The Los Angeles-based troupe's slacker humor won them the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival's jury prize last year for best sketch comedy. The group has a TV pilot in development at Warner Bros.
Kerkovich next appears in Lionsgate's comedy sequel Still Waiting ... with Justin Long. He and Waldman are repped by ICM.
