Terrifier franchise heroine Lauren Lavera has the lead in the upcoming pregnancy horror film The Fetus – and while a specific release date hasn’t been announced for this one, a trailer for the film has made its way online, and you can check it out in the embed above. Die’ced opens on Halloween 1987 when a couple of nurses realize they’ve released the wrong patient. This allows one of them to deliver a long monologue telling us all about Benjamin Newman. He’s been locked up for the past seventeen years after “he diced up his parents’ body parts and played with them like they were pieces in a board game”.

They come to the conclusion that the only thing to do is destroy all evidence he was ever a patient there. While they’re doing that, he’s killing someone and stealing their Halloween costume, their Walkman, and a complete set of knives. I wonder what he wanted those for.

I may not have been a fan of Terrifier 2 (my review is Here), but I was impressed by the work Lauren Lavera did in the lead role, and by the time the end credits started to roll I was convinced that she is a star on the rise. So I’m glad to see that she has already completed work on another genre movie – one that co-stars the great Bill Moseley! The movie is called The Fetus, and our friends at Bloody Disgusting have gotten their hands on a batch of first look images that can also be seen at the bottom of this article.
