Apple has today (November 2) run adverts in British national newspapers stating Samsung did not copy the iPad, as well as removing an earlier notice on its website after a stinging rebuke from a UK judge. In today's Guardian newspaper, Apple has taken out a small advert featuring the verdict of the original court ruling in July that the Galaxy Tab and iPad appear "similar", but Samsung was not a copycat as its tablet was "not as cool" as Apple's. The advert just features the text of the ruling and does not have any Apple branding. But crucially, the advert also does not feature the editorial commentary that Apple placed on a previous notice on its website, which stated that whilst the UK court had cleared Samsung, judges in other countries had not. Olivia Hussey Joins 1066 Cast
Actress Olivia Hussey is making a return to the big screen after a five-year hiatus to play Oliver! star Mark Lester's mother in medieval epic 1066.
The Argentina-born star, who shot to fame after playing Juliet in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 classic Romeo & Juliet, has been brought out of semi-retirement to play Countess Gytha in the star-studded period war film.
Announcing the casting news on Monday, 1066 director Robin Jacob tells WENN, "We are extremely happy to announce the attachment of Ms Olivia Hussey to the 1066 Project. Countess Gytha was the wife of Earl Godwin, the powerful leader of the Godwin dynasty and mother to future King Harold ll; she was an immensely strong woman who had some incredible life experiences that shaped her character.
"I believe that Olivia will bring Gytha to life, she is a tremendously versatile actress with the depth and substance that is essential to the role."
The film, an "historically accurate portrayal of almost half a century of intrigue, the people, politics and power struggles that lead to the great battle at Hastings on October 14th 1066 between King Harold II and William Duke of Normandy", also features British stars Susan George, Lewis Collins, John Altman and Matt Fiddes, who was formerly Michael Jackson's bodyguard.

British TV villain John Altman has joined Oliver! star Mark Lester in a new historic epic about the Battle of Hastings.
The actor, who played 'Nasty' Nick Cotton on U.K. soap Eastenders has signed on to play Earl Leofric of Mercia in 1066.

Straw Dogs star Susan George is to play a ruthless medieval matriarch in a new British movie chronicling the Battle of Hastings.
The actress has joined Oliver! star Mark Lester in 1066. She'll play Queen Emma in the historical epic, which is being directed by Robin Jacob.
