Kai Stephenson

Kai Stephenson is an editor, director, and dailies operator known for his work on award-winning short films such as "Bad Dream", "Reclaimer" and "Vigilante". Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kai fell in love with editing at a young age and began cutting short films and sketches with professional software. He carried his passion through his higher education, receiving both his B.A. in Film and Media and his M.A. in Film, Video and Digital Imaging from Georgia State University, where he would write, direct, and edit his award-winning horror short "Reclaimer." He has also worked on the set of "Till" as a director's assistant. He went on to work with Moonshine Post-Production, one of the top post-production companies in Atlanta. Working his way up from a post-PA to a dailies operator to the company's lead video editor for their newly launched social media platforms. Kai can't seem to keep still as he finds time to edit films and ad spots on a freelance basis. He is committed to using his talents in post-production to help tell a wide variety of stories.
