Mumbai, June 14 (Ians) Ahead of its premiere, the makers of ‘Jee Karda’ and Prime Video hosted a glamorous red carpet gala event in Mumbai, which had an array of celebrities in attendance.

The event saw Madhur Bhandarkar, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sanya Malhotra, Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar, Jannat Zubair, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, Karan Singh Chhabra, Anushka Sen, Deepak Dobriyal, Samvedna Suwalka, Vipin Sharma, Aditya Seal, Kritika Kamra and many more celebrities in attendance.

Actress Anya Singh graced the red-carpet gala flaunting a hip-hugging white designer outfit and she kept her hair free-flowing. She looked stunning.

A “great sense of humour” and “hero qualities”, are what actress Nushrratt Bharuccha will look for in an ideal husband.

Nushrratt will be seen on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. She will feature alongside Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Bhagyashree, Karan Singh Chhabra, Palak Mucchal, director V.V. Vinayak, and producer Jayantilal Gada as they will be coming for their film ‘Chatrapathi’.

In the episode, host Kapil will face an interrogation by an internationally renowned talk show host, Karan Singh Chhabra. He would also take the opportunity to pose a question to his co-actress Nushrratt, asking her about the qualities her husband should possess.

Mumbai, May 6 (Ians) Actor Karan Singh Chhabra has pushed the envelope for his character in the upcoming film ‘Chatrapathi’, for which he says he gave his blood, sweat and hair.

The actor has gone out of his way to deliver the role and had to get bald for a very important scene.

Talking about the same, he said: “So when I was told about the role, I was told to see the part of ‘Ashok’ which in 2005 was the iconic S. S. Rajamouli Villain of this cult Telugu film called Chatrapathi. There was a scene in which he gets punished and his head is shaved in front thousands of people.

“I initially assumed there must be a wig or some camera angle would be used but the scene required me to get bald for real and that too we cannot do any retakes “.

Mumbai, Jan 1 (Ians) Karan Singh Chhabra is all set to be seen in a short film titled ‘Continuity’. He said that his film is very different from others as it has a different kind of story.

The story revolves around a shooting crew member (production controller) who meets a hawker and the changes that to his life as a result of the meeting.

About his role, Karan said: “I play the role of a production controller who is a go-getter, multi-tasker, and can go to any extent to get things done on sets. I took inspiration from some of the real-life production controllers I have met during my acting career.”

Other actors include advertising world personality Phalguni Khanna and Soundous Moifakir of ‘Splitsvilla’ fame from Morocco. As many as 28 characters appear in the 20-minute short film. The film is set to compete at prestigious international film festivals.
