- Helena Orts was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. Helena fell in love with theatre at an early age performing in school theatre starting with "The Jungle Book" and "A Mid-Summer's Night Dream." In her adolescence she continued with her two main passions- acting and basketball. Helena stood out playing professional Basketball for Spain National Team, competing at the 2014 Youth Olympic games (bronze medal) and five European Championship U16, U18 and U20 (4 gold medals and a bronze) among other international competitions. Academy of Art University in San Francisco gave her the opportunity to graduate with a BFA in Acting and play college basketball.
As a trilingual actress, Helena's experience includes several performances in English, Spanish and Catalan. As a student at Academy of Art University, she gained experience in film through student films. Helena also took part in Peaches Christ Productions with immersive theatre in a show called "Terror Vault." Upon moving to Los Angeles she was cast in short films such as "Driver's Tale", "Buscando a Julieta" and "Olden Times."
The summer of 2019, she performed at the Broadwater Theatre for the Brisk Theatre Festival in Los Angeles as an actress in "I-Judge" and "Fandango." Helena became a part of an improvisation club in San Francisco and Los Angeles performing both short and long form.
