Alfred Lewis(III)

Alfred R. Lewis III is a fun and energetic teen, who has always had a love for entertaining and performing in front of large groups, without hesitation.
He enjoys the art of storytelling and even at this young age, understands the importance of providing a voice to the voiceless. His ability to connect with his characters tend to have a lasting impact on all with whom he comes in contact. He has been recognized by film, voiceover, and theater directors as having a work ethic, unmatched by some adults.
Alfred is a series regular on the Hit Disney Channel Television Series, "Bunk'd: Learning the Ropes." He plays the role of Bill and is enjoying this amazing experience!! Other television occurrences include a Guest Starring role on the world-renowned Television Series, "Law and Order: SVU (Jamal-Season 23 Episode 7)."
He completed two seasons of voiceover work for the PBS Animated Television Series, "DIY Science Time," produced by Alabama Public Television and Kevin Cornell. He was elated when the series became a 2023 Regional Emmy Award Winner!!
Alfred performed as lead, Jibril, in the short film, "Glitter Ain't Gold," which was directed by Christian Nolan Jones, executive produced by Hip Hop Artist, Common and co-starred, Priah Ferguson (Stranger Things). This film received high honors at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival.
Appearing in a Mercedes Benz national commercial was also an incredibly huge highlight for him.
He played supporting lead, Kendall Ellis, in the short film, "Mr. and Mrs. Ellis," with director Alan Brooks, of AMB Productions. This film was nominated for an NAACP Image Award (2021). The film has also won several awards, such as, Audience Choice (Capitol City Black Film Festival), Best Independent Short (Imagine Rain Festival), and People's Choice, Best Narrative Short (Denton Black Film Festival).
Alfred played supporting lead, Jessie Calhoun (from 1857 and 2020) in the film, "Hands Up," directed by Angela White, of Silver Lining Entertainment (short). This film won the August 2020 Independent Short Best film of the month as well as their Platinum Award for Best Drama Short. The film also won the September 2020 Los Angeles Film Award for Best Narrative Short.
He also received rave reviews for playing young "Rabbit," in the three-week dramatic theater showing of "The Re-Rooting," written by Betty Norwood Chaney and directed by Brenda Porter of Impact Theater.
In the series, "The Urbans (Episode 2)," directed by Rasheed and Raheem Green, of Green Company Pictures, Alfred played a character that allowed him to go head-to-head with comedian, Rodney Perry of Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family and Coming to America 2.
Alfred enjoyed completing voiceover narration for the internationally published audio book, "I Can't Quit," written by American-born Rwandan professional basketball player, Kendall Gray.
Alfred's favorite subjects are Honors English Lit and AP American Government. He loves playing basketball, competitively. His favorite teams are the LA Lakers and Kansas City Chiefs.
In his spare time, Alfred enjoys community service, writing short stories/songs, basketball, football, swimming, boxing, chess, playing video games and hanging out with friends/family.
