Moore also worked with Swanson Communications in Washington, DC where she credits Kelly Swanson named One of Yahoo! Sports' 25 Most Powerful People in Boxing OF 2013 for giving her the 'PR' room room. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, she was a freelance Field Producer for NBC's Access Hollywood, a Casting Producer for 3 Ball Productions, an Animal Planet show and worked behind the scenes in production for The ESPY's and Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Independently, her work as an Internal Communications Manager include National Recording Artists to Authors.

She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Monica managed events for high profile personalities such as Tavis Smiley 15 Years in Journalism Celebration held at The Musuem of Television and Radio in Beverly Hills, now The Paley Center for Media as well as symposiums and special events honoring Academy Award Winner and Author Sidney Poitier at the home of Arianna Huffington.
