The 44-year-old real estate agent and Vice President at The Oppenheim Group has been starring on the Netflix reality series since the beginning, for the past eight seasons.

In a new interview, Mary opened up about almost quitting the show and revealed one past castmate that she doesn’t think should be back on the show.

And he was like, ‘Really?’” she said during an appearance on The Pop Report podcast. “I was like, ‘It’s going to change our life. And that means you’re probably not going to be on it either and stuff too. So I just want to talk this through because I really don’t think this is...

Oppenheim was joined by colleague and Selling Sunset co-star Mary Bonnet to present THR‘s fourth annual Power Broker Awards. Neither was apprehensive. Instead, they were thrilled to be able to present awards of merit to friends and associates. “I would say I’m way more nervous at some other award shows,” Oppenheim said. “But I feel comfortable in front of these people. We do deals with them. I see them every day.”

Eclectic brokers, dressed in everything from evening gowns to well-worn jeans, mingled outdoors at the serene and elegant Swan Lake and the Hotel Bel- Air, where the awards ceremony was held.

Selling Sunset fans can kiss a Season 8 reunion goodbye, according to a new report that the annual special won’t happen because of cast feuding.

Since Season 5, the realtors at the center of Netflix’s Los Angeles-set reality series have gathered for a filmed post-mortem conversation with Queer Eye‘s Tan France; that special usually drops on the streaming service within two weeks of the season premiere. But our sister site Variety reports that the reunion isn’t happening for Season 8 because of several ongoing fights among The Oppenheim Group’s staff.

The drama among the “Selling Sunset” cast continues to spill out onto social media and in the press, but sadly for viewers, Netflix will not be filming a reunion for Season 8 of the show. Reunions for “Selling Sunset” aren’t ritualized in the way that reunions for Bravo shows are, but after the Netflix series produced its first one in 2022 for Season 5, the cast sitting down with “Queer Eye” star Tan France for a special that drops within two weeks of the season is something that audiences have grown to expect. And after a messy eighth season of the popular real estate show, the castmates of “Selling Sunset” have a lot to discuss in front of their fans — but won’t be doing so. (Netflix’s representatives had no comment.)

The melodrama is manifold.

Jason Oppenheim and Mary Bonnet, stars of Selling Sunset as well as top agents at The Oppenheim Group, will once again host The Hollywood Reporter‘s annual L.A. Power Broker Awards.

The event — presented by luxury real estate PR firm The Society Group — will take place on Sept. 17 at Hotel Bel-Air and toast the powerhouse sellers on THR‘s Top 35 List, followed by an awards presentation. The honors are sponsored by Fleetwood Windows & Doors and interior design and home styling company Vesta Home.

Oppenheim and Bonnet previously hosted the event, now in its fourth year, in 2022; Mauricio Umansky emceed in 2023. Nominees for six categories are presented below, with the pair announcing the winners at the dinner. Aaron Kirman of Akg Christie’s International Real Estate is also the winner of THR‘s L.A. Team of the Year Award, and Linda May will be recognized with the Philanthropic Impact Award.

At the time, Oppenheim shared the news on his Instagram Story, writing of their long-distance relationship, "While we still love and care for each other very much, the distance between us has proven too great to overcome. The new comedy “Primo,” from Mike Schur (“Parks and Recreation”) will begin streaming on May 19 on Amazon’s free streaming service Freevee. Bre Tiesi is ready to make her mark on the "Selling Sunset" universe. Season six will mark Tiesi's first time on the show, though it's definitely not the 31-year-old's first time in the spotlight. Tiesi has been modeling since she was a teenager, and also runs her own fitness program. Are you ready for the explosive next chapter of Selling Sunset?

Netflix confirmed Thursday that its hit reality series will return for Season 6 on May 19, 2023.

Selling Sunset Season 6 will be comprised of 11 new episodes, and if the trailer is any indication, we're in for another season of selling houses and high drama.

"New agents mean new drama," Netflix teases in the official description.

"The realtors of The Oppenheim Group return with sleek penthouse listings, personality clashes, and pregnancies — and throw enough shade to cover every cabana in Los Angeles," Netflix adds.

As previously reported, Maya Vander and Christine Quinn have exited the series and won't be featured in the new season.

Heather El Moussa, Mary Fitzgerald, Brett Oppenheim, Jason Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Davina Portatz, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Vanessa Villela, and Chelsea Lazkani are returning.

Brie Tiesi is the newest cast member, while longtime guest Nicole Young has been upped to a main cast member.

The tense teaser for “Selling Sunset” season 6 is officially here, and the real-estate drama looks high market value.

Returning to Netflix on May 19, the sixth season of the wildly popular reality series will unfold with plenty of conflict brewing between original agents — including Chrishell Stause, Heather El Moussa, Davina Potratz and Mary Fitzgerald — along with the heated addition of two new agents in the luxury-home life.

Lazkani joined the hit Netflix reality series in Season 5, which is currently available for streaming. Shooting on season six of Selling Sunset is underway with a release date yet to be announced.

Mary Fitzgerald choked back tears while emotionally revealing she suffered a miscarriage.

The “Selling Sunset” star took to Instagram on Friday and posted a video in which she struggled to reveal the news she said she sat on for weeks, that her and her husband, Romain Bonnet, went to Bali and got pregnant. Unfortunately, Fitzgerald says, the pregnancy didn’t work out. She said she felt compelled to share her message after promising fans she’d take them with her through her fertility journey.

The Selling Sunset agent and designer anticipated that the series will be streaming on Netflix “soon” and both seasons should be released in 2023.

“We’ve actually filmed two seasons at a time, so we had a little break over the holidays and we’re back at it now,” she told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “We haven’t been given a launch date for season 6 to air.
