I have been a Chicago Public School teacher for the past 20 years. I found filmmaking six years ago and have written, directed and produced over a dozen short films on a shoestring budget.
I wrote my first script in December of 2017, "Vince: The Punctual Vagrant". I produced and directed my first short in March of 2018. I love the challenge of directing & creating genuine characters. I can not stop.
In June of 2024, I will be resigning from education to follow my passion for filmmaking and social justice.
