Felipe Salas is a Digital Musicologist, Film producer, music composer, sound designer, and events producer. He have a master degree in Digital Humanities where did investigation in the intersections between art and technology.
He studied music composition and sound design with Mr. Santiago Lozano and was awarded a meritorious thesis because of his work in adaptative music for video games. Also, his thesis was nominated by the University of Los Andes to the Otto de Greiff 2020 award to the best bachelors in music degree work in Colombia.
During 2019, Felipe Salas worked for the University of Los Andes and the Colombian Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as assistant producer of the 2019 Cine Crea Colombia Cine Concerts around Colombia. Moreover, he worked in various TV series as a sound designer and Santiago Lozano assistant.
Furthermore, his interest in video games and entrepreneurship led him to study video games at the University of Alberta and be awarded by the Canadian government with the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) scholarship.
He had been part of entertainment-related entrepreneurship in the fields of audio post-production, concert production, film production, and video game production. Right now, his passion is helping the growth of the Colombian entertainment industry from the management side of the business, create jobs, and help the financial stability of the industry players.
