Born in the summer of 1995 in Secaucus NJ Dante was a playful and curious child. His family always traveled since he was a child. Whether it was somewhere around the 50 states of America or back to their poor hometown in Italy he always had a chance to see how others lived their lives. Which always made him think about how he lived his. How maybe he was more fortunate than others, but realizing this gave him his core gratitude and respect characteristics, no matter where you are from whether you own the place or sweep the floors he speak to you with the same enthusiastic tone when conversing. He believes there is always something new to learn so why not listen. Throughout high school he used his leadership attributes as Varsity wrestling captain it was always important for him to set an example, which for him was expressing his feelings and voicing his opinion no matter the circumstances.
This rising star first discovered his passion for music while in college became known for playing some of the most epic music events in Manhattan and along the east coast. Dantes style off progressive tech-house draws from European influence, but is delivered with New York attitude, distinguishing his sound from other DJ's and music producers. Exuding energy in front of his audience, Dantes sets were the soundtrack to his peers most unforgettable nights. In the midst of this all coincidentally he ran into someone who wanted to manage me in the fashion industry. He figured this coincides with the entertainment industry and jumped right into building his portfolio and was soon walking for NY and LA fashion weeks of 2017. "Now ill be honest it is fun but yet boring at the same time because I am not a stiff clothes hanger like most other 'models'. I wanted a little more action." Says Dante. Yet again the universe gives him another opportunity when a friend of a friend asks him to be in a small play. He had considered acting but at the same time had never performed or practiced anything of the sort other than his silly impressions of movie characters of the decades. "I thought to myself why not, let me give it a shot. If I cant do this little play how do I expect to be an artist of entertainment." He said. And with only 2 weeks to rehearse and only twice was the full cast available for practice he buckled up and stuck out his performance of 2 scenes totaling 2 hours. In his words "After the show there was a line of people waiting to shake my hand to say what an incredible show I put on for them. I cried. Not once not ever did I have anyone lineup to congratulate me for anything. That euphoric feeling was surging through my body once again, stronger than before. It was at that moment I knew that I needed to take action. I needed to pursue these talents and take them to the next level. I want to entertain people with my energy, my charisma. I find that I judge myself but only when I hear negative thoughts of false hope from individuals who don't quite understand me, and that I am still realizing." His passion for the art of acting was born!
Dante had a few hardships to face in and out of his achievements but his strong will was used to overcome such struggles. Dante Saverio Amato is a successful model, actor, DJ and music producer.
