Match #1: Nxt North American Championship – Tony D’Angelo def. Ridge Holland The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Family still holds gold as Tony D’Angelo retained the Nxt North American Championship thanks to an unlikely assist from Izzi Dame. Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance hit the scene and brawled with Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino, destracting the official long enough for Dame to crack Holland with a huge Big Boot. The Don won the bout and in his confusion turned to Dame who told him that they “were even”.

Confetti fell as Oba Femi held his newly won WWE Nxt Championship at New Year’s Evil. The Nigerian-born superstar stood proudly at the entranceway alongside new Nxt Women’s Champion Guilia to close the show. This special June 6 episode on The CW marked a new era for the brand known for launching WrestleMania headliners. Femi, 26, certainly has the makings of one. The track and field Nil [Next In Line] athlete already gained many accolades in a short amount of time including winning the 2023 Men’s Nxt Breakout Tournament and becoming the longest reigning North American Champion. Now the imposing figure stands at the top of the mountain at a time when Nxt has never been hotter. The night he won the gold from Trick Williams in a triple threat with Eddy Thorpe also saw an appearance from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He lent his star power after opening WWE’s big Raw on Netflix premiere.

Match #1: Nxt Women’s Championship – Giulia def. Roxanne Perez The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Beautiful Madness is officially on top of the Nxt Women’s division as Giulia defeated Roxanne Perez to become Nxt Women’s Champion. Perez dominated the early goings by targeting the challengers limbs, bending them back in excruciating pain. The Prodigy became increasingly frustrated by her inability to put Giulia away, and that anger didn’t serve her well as she miscalculated and was tossed off the top rope with a huge Double Underhook Superplex. Cora Jade came to ringside to help the champion, but Giulia kicked out of Pop Rox, rolled through the armbar, hit a huge Arrivederci knee...

Match #1: Oba Femi def. Axiom The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
No. 1 Contender Oba Femi sent a message to Nxt Champion Trick Williams after dominating Axiom in singles action. Axiom, one half of the Nxt Tag Team Champion, was outmatched physically as The Ruler used his strength to toss the high-flyer around. Femi’s strikes were so massive that they began to leave hand prints all over Axiom, but the Spanish Superstar dug deep to try and cut down the big man. Axiom went for broke by attempting a Golden Ratio, but he was caught by Femi and planted with a Fall From Grace Powerbomb.

Welcome to this review of Nxt: Deadline, the latest pay-per-view/premium live event from the WWE’s third brand and a show that features the culmination of the “Iron Survivor Challenge” tournament that has taken place over the past few weeks. Let’s see what went down on the show!
Match #1: Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge – Winner: Oba Femi The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Eddy Thorpe was unable to compete due to not being medically cleared, and it opened the door for The Ruler of Nxt to walk out of Minneapolis as the Iron Survivor. Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans kicked off the bout, and it resulted in The Cardiac Kid putting his foot on the ropes to steal a fall just before Nathan Frazer entered the fray. Nxt Deadline begins to wind down the WWE calendar year in explosive style in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Oba Femi returned to win the first Iron Survivor challenge of the evening, narrowly escaping a Je'von Evans pin to seal the victory. This sets up a huge feud with Nxt Champion Trick Williams, who successfully defended his title against Ridge Holland. Nathan Frazer and Axiom also retained their titles in an astonishing match with No Quarter Catch Crew's Myles Borne & Tavion Heights.
Lola Vice defeated Jaida Parker in a personal and physical Nxt Underground match, but the Match of the Night came with the Women's Iron Survivor match. One of the most must-see matches in the second half of WWE's calendar, Giulia emerged as the winner and new Number One Contender for Roxanne Perez's Women's Nxt Championship, but it was a night in which everybody came out looking like they had world-class potential.

Match #1: Last Chance Iron Survivor Qualifier Fatal 4-Way Match – Winner: Wren Sinclair The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Wren Sinclair is officially headed to Deadline after overcoming Cora Jade, Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan in the Women’s Last Chance Fatal 4-Way Match. Parker was showing out early, using her power to thrash her opponents and at one point even stacking up Jade and Sinclair to hit a Double Silencer on the ropes. Jordan and Jade went back and forth after neither were able to score the winning fall, and that opening allowed Parker to get back in the fold. Out of nowhere, Lola Vice appeared and tried to hit Parker with a Spinning Backfist, but she clocked Sinclair on...

Match #1: Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley def. Wendy Choo & Rosemary The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Former Nxt Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria’s return to Nxt was a successful one as she helped Tatum Paxley take down the evil team of Wendy Choo and Tna’s Rosemary. The teamwork of Valkyria and Paxley was on full display as they used impeccable tag team maneuvers to gain control, including a stereo dropkick through the ropes. Rosemary and Choo regained the advantage thanks to well-timed kick from the Nxt Superstar, but Paxley persevered and refused to give in on behalf of her team. The longtime friends rallied in a huge way with Valkyria hitting a Diving Leg Drop from the top rope to win the match.

Match #1: Nxt Heritage Cup Match – Charlie Dempsey def. Tony D’Angelo The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Heritage Cup is back in the No Quarter Catch Crew after Charlie Dempsey dethroned Tony D’Angleo in a five round classic. D’Angelo scored the first fall in round thanks to a huge twisting Fisherman Suplex, but Dempsey evened the score thanks to a smooth roll up in round four. The action broke down in round five with Myles Borne and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo taking each other out, but it was Wren Sinclair that proved to be the difference maker as she knocked The Don off the top rope, allowing Dempsey an opening to score the winning fall.

Match #1: Karmen Petrovic def. Arianna Grace The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Karmen Petrovic picked up one of the biggest wins of her singles career, but it came at a cost. The two Superstars may have teamed together at Nxt Heatwave, but that was ancient history as they went right after each other, only for their former opponents Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx to come to the ringside area. Petrovic sent a message to all three of them by cracking Grace with a devastating kick to score the win. However, after the match, Fallon Henley appeared and took Petrovic out, continuing to wreak havoc on the Nxt women’s locker room.
