Emerson Thomas-Gregory grew up in Brooklyn, NY, where she got her start performing Off-Broadway. While still in New York, she received her first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and graduated UCB at the Improv 301 level. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has studied the Meisner Technique at the Don Bloomfield Actors Studio, and worked on several independent projects, such as "The Heist" and "Were You There?"
