Darren Strowger is an English film director and producer. In 2022, his credits as an executive producer include Academy Awards nominee "Ala Kachuu" and the latest short film he executively produced, "Same Old" nominated for the Palme d'Or in Cannes Film Festival.
Darren directed the short film "The Hat" in 2020, starring Jude Law and his son Raff Law. The project premiered at Raindance where it was awarded before being acquired by Topic Media for worldwide release.
Darren is the founder of the Excell Group - a global communication firm acquired by Macquarie in 2021. Darren has turned his Midas touch to the film industry in the last few years - his vocation being to set up a new production model aimed at donating to charity through his film proceeds.
