Jiri Tucek is one of the youngest producers of European film. When he was just 21 years old, he co-produced the fairy tale "Rachanda" and other films, and started to produce the feature film "Pepa", which was screened in Czech and Slovak cinemas.
In autumn 2016, he founded the production company DONART Production. By 2022, it had become one of the largest producer of film and documentary projects on the CEE market.
At the beginning of 2019, his film "Cena za stesti" (festival name: children of loners), opened in cinemas. The film was awarded the Near Nazareth Festival prize for "Cooperation and Strengthening Friendship and Understanding between Nations".
His last movie Nightline, starring the like Karel Roden get international awards from Montreal, London, Los Angeles, New York, Florence or Barcelona.
