Shweta Bhardwaj is a freelance writer, known for writing Hindi , Bangla Television serials and Bangla films.
She was born on 23 nov 1984, in a small up village, chhutmalpur, District- saharanpur.
She finished her masters degree in English literature in 2005 and then decided to do masters in journalism and mass communication from Apeejay College, Delhi, 2007-2009.
She got selected as trainee writers as Balaji Telefilms selected her and took her under their wings in 2009 in a campus selection program held in Apeejay college of journalism and mass communication, delhi.
She started working as a co writer and a freelance writer in 2012 .
She started working as an independent writer in 2015 and since then she has written many hindi tv shows, Bangla shows, Bangla Films as an Independent story screenplay and dialogue writer.
Her many shows like Godhuli Alaap, Premer Kahini, Bojhena se bojhena, guddan tumse na ho payega, ekhane akash neel, gangaa and many more were loved deeply by the audience.
Her first bangla feature film, gangster was a hit and the leading actor received filmfare award too.
She had been nominated for best screenplay writer in SWA 2022 for the show Amma ke babu ki Baby.
