Biography

German Segal was born in Izhevsk, Russia, to Olga Segal (Korobeynikova), a university teacher, and Sergey Segal, a lawyer. From a very young age, German developed a passion for cinema and dreamed of becoming an actor. He first started taking acting classes in his hometown during his teens, and after finishing school, he decided to audition for drama schools.

In 2018, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School, where he studied for four years. Upon graduation, he worked in Russian TV shows, films, and theatre.

In 2021, he got a series regular role in the British TV series "The Undeclared War" for Channel 4, directed by Peter Kosminsky, which was his first English-language project and his most prominent role.

In 2022, he was accepted at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (MA Acting for Screen) in London, where he graduated with distinction.

German now resides in London, England, and works internationally.
