Born and raised in the Stockholm area, Sweden with a huge interest in
film. Got into the film business through his sister, a well-known
producer, as a PA. His interest in editing began while working as a
camera man on the hit TV-show "Cheaters". Taught himself on the AVID
and combined his work on location with logging. Through Robin Siwe,
editor for Jonas Akerlund, he got his first real assistant job on "I'm
going to tell you a secret".
He has been in the film industry since 1997. Started working on sets for commercials as a production assistant and quickly moved into both pre-production and different capacities on set like lights, grip, design, props etc.
After graduating from college with Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2000, he worked on sets until 2003 when I started to make the switch towards film-editing. Worked his way up through the ranks as an assistant editor to one of Swedens best film editors, Malin Lindström. Edited my first short film in 2006 and have since edited hundreds of commercials and a multitude of documentaries, award-winning short-film and features.
