Eleanor Byrne(II)

Eleanor was born on January 20th 1995 in Dublin, Ireland. She is known for her roles in Falkland Square (Lexicon Film Productions), Foundation (Apple TV / Skydance Television) and Innocent S2 (ITV / TXTV). When she was 18 she moved to London, enrolling at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, where she was awarded the Italia Conti Trust Award Scholarship, graduating in 2016. Upon graduating, she performed in various productions in fringe venues and studio theatres around London (including Etcetera Theatre Camden, Theatre N16, The New Wimbledon Studio Theatre & Theatre Deli). In 2018 she brought to life the role of Breda in 'Gutted' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, directed by Chris White. Following three women's stories against the backdrop of a fish factory in 1980s Dublin, this Irish dark comedy received a promising response. In 2019 she wrote her own one-woman play 'A Life Sentence', based on her Granny's harrowing experience with symphysiotomy in 1950s Ireland. Programmed by Eastlake Productions, 'A Life Sentence' premiered at The Cat's Back Theatre, London, in May 2019. In 2019 she was cast in her first major film role - Ruth in feature film 'Falkland Square', set for release in 2022. In Autumn 2019, she toured the UK in 'Gutted', resuming the role of Breda.
