Platinum Blonde is a Canadian New Wave Rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1982. During its most commercially successful period 1982 - 1987, the band consisted of Mark Holmes on vocals and bass, Sergio Galli on guitar, and Chris Steffler on drums. Chris Steffler was instrumental in having his friend and former band mate, Scottish musician Kenny MacLean join the group as bassist in 1985, freeing Holmes from bass duties. The original members of Platinum Blonde as listed above were inducted into the Canadian Radio Broadcaster's Hall of Fame in 2010.
