Gerson Barreto

Born and raised in "Rio de Janeiro" city, Gerson Barreto began his artistic life in Ballroom Dance at the age of 18, becoming a Ballroom Dance teacher and participating in several advertisements as a model. He graduated in Business Administration and began his theatrical studies at the Grupo de Teatro Nós do Morro, in Morro do Vidigal, Leblon, Rio de Janeiro. As a dancer, he participated since 2014 in the theatrical productions of the "Casa de Arte e Cultura Julieta de Serpa", being also present in the opening cast of the Cesgranrio Theater, in 2016, in the Rio Comprido neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro-RJ. In 2016, he became a voice actor at Escola de Rádio TV e Web. In 2018, he deepened his theatrical studies at the Actors Workshop of the Cesgranrio Foundation, coordinated by director Alexandre Machafer and, in the Black Musical Theater course, designed by Jô Santana, producer of the shows "Dona Ivone Lara" and "Marrom - O Musical". As a bass-baritone, in 2019, he sang in the Canto Coral Cénio da Cesgranrio, composing the cast of the show "Terra Brasilis", directed by maestro Jonas Hammar. Also in 2019, he left the cast of the musical "Elas Cantam Elis", at Casa de Arte e Cultura Julieta de Serpa, to join the cast of the humorous program "Tô de Graça", on the Multishow channel, starring Rodrigo Santanna and directed by director Marco Rodrigo.
In 2022, Gerson Barreto completes his 2nd college, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Theater from Faculdade Cesgranrio.
