Biography

Born and raised in the suburbs of Southern New Jersey, BJ Wolf is a Los Angeles based actor. Coming into this world BJ was immediately engulfed in a melting pot of culture, for his background is of Irish-Italian and African-American roots. Having young parents, BJ was often left with his grandmothers Cathleen Sheehan and Rhoda Woolfolk. His love for adventure and all things outdoorsy come from his Nana Cathleen and his boldness and perseverance comes from his Mommom Rhoda. He is inspired by women because he was raised by two strong independent women.

In high school BJ played football, swam on the swim team, and ran track. He swam on the Division 1 team at The University of Maine. While attending university he fell in love with the craft of acting. He majored in marine biology but took electives in acting with professor A.J. Mooney who inspired him to move to Los Angeles and follow his dreams of becoming a great actor.

In Los Angeles, BJ dove into the craft, studying under great instructors such as Margie Haber, Lawrence Dwyer, Bruce Baek, David Jahn, and many more at such institutions as Identity School of Acting and The Groundlings. In early 2020 BJ booked his first supporting role in the Netflix film called The Prom (2020) and worked with greats such as Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and Kerry Washington.
