In 2020, Lacombe has filmed and directed The Garden Of The Haims about a sculpture garden near Biarritz, France, threatened by climate change. She filmed and interviewed the 60 extraordinary women featured in the British-American Female Lead video project.
She has worked as a reporter, anchorwoman, and editor-in-chief on daily news and magazines for the private French television channel M6 in Paris, as well as opened and ran their correspondent headquarters in Lyon and Marseilles. For M6 TV, Marian created a nightly talk show, Dazibao, and the first behind the scenes program on the world of fashion, Mode6.
She directed documentaries on filmmakers, choreographers, and designers such as Mira Nair, Agnès Varda, Robert Altman, Philippe Decouflé, and Issey Miyake.
Marian Lacombe has interviewed and filmed the many international directors, actors, and producers photographed by Brigitte Lacombe for the Doha Film Institute photographic and video project I Am Film.
In 2012, for the London Olympic Games, Marian and Brigitte Lacombe collaborated on Hey'Ya, a book and an Exhibition at Sotheby's about Arab Women in Sport.
