The girlfriend of singer Darius Campbell Danesh has revealed more sad details about the sudden death of the British singer in August 2022.
Lauren Cheek told the UK’s Sun newspaper that her late partner was suffering from a heart condition that was unknown until his autopsy was conducted.
She told the paper: “So many things could have taken him, but this [heart condition] did, and he died in his sleep.
“His mum told me they only found out [about the undiagnosed condition] after they did the autopsy. His heart was twice the size it was supposed to be, which was fitting, because that is genuinely how he was — he had so much love.”
In addition, Campbell Danesh was suffering from a longterm broken neck following a car accident that had left him in agonising pain. In 2010, Campbell Danesh was a passenger in a Porsche when it hit a wall at 70 mph after skidding on oil during a holiday in Spain.

What happens to a one-hit-wonder girlband when their allocated 15 minutes of fame comes to an abrupt end, and they’re no longer the hottest young things in coordinated but subtly different outfits?
It’s a question answered in all-singing, all-dancing style by effervescent sitcom Girls5eva, which debuted on US streamer Peacock in 2021 but is now finally available to stream on Netflix, where a third season will arrive later this year. Created by Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt writer Meredith Scardino and exec-produced by Tina Fey, this underrated gem has enough energy and emotion to fill stadiums, and more Nineties-style pop treats than an ancient Now That’s What I Call Music disc. It’s This Is Spinal Tap for turn-of-the-millennium girl groups, turning the synths up to 11.
Wickie, Dawn, Summer, Gloria and Ashley make up Girls5eva, a Spice Girls knock-off who peaked in the late Nineties. The band’s name...

Scottish singer and West End star Darius Campbell Danesh died from respiratory arrest caused by inhalation of chloroethone, a US medical examiner has confirmed.
The former Pop Idol contestant’s death has been ruled an accident by the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, after Campbell Danesh was found in his Rochester apartment last month.
His family revealed the singer had been suffering from chronic neck pain following a car accident in 2010, a trauma he had previously talked about in interviews.
In 2010, Campbell Danesh was a passenger in a Porsche when it hit a wall at 70mph after skidding on oil during a Spanish holiday in Spain.
He was treated with daily physiotherapy but rejected an operation recommended by doctors because he was concerned that it would damage his vocal cords.
Campbell Danesh was found unresponsive in his Rochester apartment on August 11, according to a statement from his family.

Danesh, who was living in the US, was found dead in his apartment in Rochester, Minnesota on Tuesday (16 August). He was 41.

Ex On The Beach returned tonight with plenty of drama - well, we'd expect nothing less. But while last week we were all about Jayden 'The Fresh', this week he was all doom and gloom about his bizarre argument with Griff ("Don't call me Grit!").
But that's okay, because this week solidified Megan M's status as the most fascinating Ex On The Beach cast member. We are truly obsessed (and also a little bit scared of her). Read on for 9 reasons why:
1. There's nothing funny about a drinking game to Megan.
You wouldn't think a little game of 'Would You Rather' could go badly, would you? Wrong. Kirk had to choose between Jemma and Megan M, and dared to go for the former. Ooh, if looks could kill. "I knew he was going to say Jemma straight away, because she looks like a porn star," Megan snarked - before quizzing Kirk on his decision.

We're not going to lie - when we found out that Zoe Birkett was entering the Big Brother house earlier this week, the Digital Spy office got very excited indeed. What a blast from the past - and how much the "little podgy kid from Pop Idol with the dreadlocks" (her words, not ours) has grown up in the last 13 years. But it got us thinking - what happened to the other contestants? We put on our deerstalker, pulled out our magnifying glass and started digging...

Well, that was intense. If it wasn't Girl Thing at each other's throats in Ireland or Kavana 'not putting the effort in' at 5th Story's studio sessions, it all got a bit heated in Big Reunion land - we needed at least three cuppas to handle the drama. But we survived, and we're all a bit more knowledgeable - here's what we learned from this week's episode...
1. Jodi Albert agreed to host Girl Thing's reunion at the Irish mansion she shares with Kian Egan.
Honestly, what was she thinking? How those tasteful sofas escaped without blood splatter, we'll never know. On the other hand, maybe it's because almost the first thing Jodi said to Linzi when seeing her for the first time in 13 years was that she had to take her shoes off or Kian would kill them.
2. Everyone in Girl Thing was terrified about the reunion.

A video clip from the next episode of The Big Reunion has been released.
The fourth instalment in the show's series focuses on 3T and Eternal, with 3T having a final family get-together before coming to the UK, and Eternal meeting for the first time in years.
American band 3T are made up of Taj, Tj and Tarrall Jackson, the nephews of Michael Jackson. They are shown playing a game of Pictionary before flying over to take part in The Big Reunion.
Eternal, who are taking part in the show without member Louise Redknapp, were also filmed talking through their differences.
The girls discuss the moment they sacked member Kelle Bryan by fax and how they weren't communicating as a band.
Other bands taking part in the show are A1, Girl Thing and Damage as well as supergroup 5th Story consisting of Kenzie, Dane Bowers, Adam Rickitt, Kavana and Gareth Gates.

London, February 21: Gareth Gates has revealed that reliving 'sex drama' involving Katie Price on 'The Big Reunion 2' was hard for him.
The 29-year-old singer said that it was hard to sit down with his family and going through the old stories about a certain woman, Metro.co.uk reported.
He said that he had to tell the truth which he didn't earlier and reliving over a decade later was hard.
Gates added that it didn't occur to him how his sisters and parents would have been affected by the controversy, as no one wants to read stuff like that about their son.
It was reported that Gates lost his virginity.

1. We miss Pop Idol.
Who knew? But seeing just a glimpse of Gareth Gates on Pop Idol back in the day brought memories flooding back of Dr Fox and Pete Waterman, of Ant & Dec hosting (we forgot!) and of how generally all-round great it was. So thanks for that, Big Reunion.
2. Gareth Gates regrets denying the whole "Katie Price" thing.

Suzanne Shaw has become the latest celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice All-Stars.
Her exit follows on from Gareth Gates who left the show last Sunday (February 9).
Shaw was up against former rugby player Kyran Bracken in what was her first ever skate-off.
Bracken skated to Michael Jackson's famous track 'Billie Jean', while Shaw opted for 'Music' by Madonna.
Shaw made a number of mistakes in her routine, resulting in judges Ashley Roberts and Jason Gardiner saving Bracken.
Temporary judge Nicky Slater also saved Bracken, but said: "Neither of you should be here."
Karen Barber added that she would also have opted to save Bracken.
Shaw blamed her stumbles on her nerves, saying: "I think it's because I haven't had experience doing the skate-off before."
She added: "I really wanted to try and make it all the way to the final. I'm just glad we went out on one of our best skates.

Gareth Gates was voted off 'Dancing on Ice All-Stars' tonight (09.02.14). The 29-year-old singer, who first rose to fame on 'Pop Idol' in 2002, became the latest star to leave the ITV series after losing a skate-off against former 'EastEnders' star Sam Attwater. Despite impressing judges Jason Gardiner, Ashley Roberts, Robin Cousins and Karen Barber with his performance to Wham!'s hit 'Freedom,' during which he wore a George Michael-style blonde wig, Gareth and his professional partner, Brianne Delcourt, failed to win them over with their follow up routine to U2's 'Beautiful Day.' All four judges chose to save 28-year-old Sam. Upon hearing the result,...

Gareth Gates has become the latest celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice All-Stars.
The singer follows in the footsteps of Bonnie Langford, who exited the ITV competition at the end of last Sunday's live show.
Gates and partner Brianne Delcourt had to battle it out in the skate-off with Sam Attwater and Vicky Ogden to decide who remained in the show when the two couples found themselves bottom after this week's vote.

Myleene Klass has responded to claims made in tonight's (February 6) episode of The Big Reunion.

Oh, isn't it good to have The Big Reunion back? As the sort of people who grew up pasting Top of the Pops stickers on every available surface, it's pleasing that we can revisit the glory years with the help of an ITV2 show on these cold, wet January nights. And boy, episode one did not disappoint. But as pop devotees, what exactly did we learn? Well, read on for the all-important lessons from tonight's instalment...
1. Andi Peters is still cheeky.
Well. Andi's narration was one of the best things about tonight's show, but we admit to blushing at times. "Simon Cowell splashed his massive wad in the direction of a famous French landmark." Andi, this is a family show! (Praise, though, for dubbing 'Freak Me' a "bonking anthem".)
2. Girl Thing's Nikki is voice twins with Philomena Cunk from Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe.
Seriously. It's creepy.
3. Victoria Beckham is loads of fun.

The duo have teamed up with Dane Bowers, Kenzie and Gareth Gates to form the supergroup in the ITV2 series but spoke on This Morning about their previous tension as Kavana left his management company when they signed Rickitt.
"Ooh, that's an awkward first episode!" Rickitt joked.
Meanwhile, Kavana explained: "There were other reasons as well... You make decisions when you're young, but one of the reasons, yeah, was because my manager took on this guy from Coronation Street called Adam Rickitt!"
Rickitt admitted that he felt "so guilty" about the situation for years, adding: "When we met up, it was one of the first things I said to him."

Bonnie Langford has become the latest celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice All-Stars.
Langford follows in the footsteps of Zaraah Abrahams, who exited the ITV competition at the end of last Sunday's (January 26) live show.
Langford and partner Andrei Lipanov had to battle it out in the skate-off with Sam Attwater and Vicky Ogden to decide who remained in the show.
Duel winners Kyran Bracken, Hayley Tamaddon, Ray Quinn and Gareth Gates were earlier given immunity from elimination.
Attwater performed to 'Don't Stop the Music' by Jamie Cullum in the skate-off, while Langford performed to 'Big Spender' in a bid to stay in the competition.
Judges Karen Barber, Ashley Roberts and Jason Gardiner all voted to save Attwater, while head judge Robin Cousins said he would have done the same.
Langford said on hearing the result: "These skaters are all wonderful. They're all half my age. I don't...
