Mitchel Musso was a prolific Disney Channel star who was on one of its biggest shows, "Hannah Montana." According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the highest-rated episodes drew in over 10 million viewers. The secret superstar sitcom was one of the few series to make it past Disney Channel's dreaded 65 episode rule because it was too popular to cancel. Musso, with his Justin Bieber-style hair swoop and earnest smile, played Oliver Oken — a sweet, outgoing kid known for his quirky catchphrase, "Fricky Fricky Fresh."
He also voiced Jeremy, the guitar-playing object of Candace's affection on the animated series "Phineas and Ferb." Musso eventually earned a starring role on the Disney Xd show "Pair of Kings," about fraternal twins who become the unexpected rulers of a tropical island kingdom. But it's been at least two years since we've heard anything about what Mitchel Musso is up to, since he...

Many stars got their start in Disney Channel Original Movies and television shows, but some of the former Disney child stars eventually disappeared from Hollywood. Any millennial who grew up watching and loving the Disney Channel will recognize Kay Panabaker. Her breakout role was on The WB's "Summerland," the Aaron Spelling drama about teens being raised by their aunt after the death of their parents.
Although not listed as one of our best Disney Channel shows of the 2000s, she was in season 1 of "Phil of the Future," a quirky sitcom about a teenager from the year 2121 stuck in the year 2004. Kay Panabaker brought her warm energy to the role of Debbie, a sugary sweet girl with preppy clothes and a sunny smile that is also hiding something. She also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Life is Ruff" with Kyle Massey from "That's So Raven" and Mitchel Musso from "Hannah Montana.

Unaired pilots have led to important recasts that vastly improve iconic TV characters. Replacements like Emilia Clarke as Daenerys redefine the portrayal of iconic roles. Talented actors like Alyson Hannigan were the second choice to bring beloved characters like Willow to life.
Several major TV shows featured a certain actor in the pilot episode that was recast for the rest of the series. This may have been an unaired pilot shown to network executives before the show officially aired many TV show spinoffs that never aired met their end at this stage. An early pilot like this allows producers to see what they have so far and decide if the series is worth pursuing, or if some changes need to be made before filming the rest of it such as finding an actor more suited to the character.

Police responded to a 7:15 p.m. call over a “disturbance at a hotel.” Earlier, Musso entered the hotel while intoxicated, took a bag of chips and began eating them. When he was asked to pay for the chips, “he became verbally abusive and left without rendering payment.”

After spending one night in jail, he was released on a $1,000 bond on Sunday.

It looks like blasts from the pasts aren’t always a good thing.
Former Hannah Montana star, Mitchel Musso, who played one of the Montana’s best friends, shared a few photos of his costume while he was on the Disney Channel show — and he wasn’t reflecting on the good times.
“f—- Diamond plaid, double collar, pants like wtf lookin mother—– and the shoes?” he wrote. “What in the actual f—. Why they do me so dirty.”
His followers on Twitter also chimed in, with a few agreeing that he should have made better fashion choices in his youth.

Fashion mishaps are often a part of growing up and luckily for most of us, we can keep the photo evidence under wraps. For Mitchel Musso, it's a little bit different. The former Hannah Montana star took to Twitter to poke fun at his character's less-than-trendy wardrobe on the once popular Disney Channel show. "F--kin Diamond plaid, double collar, pants like wtf lookin motherf--ka and the shoes?" wrote the former teen star. "What in the actual f--k. Why they do me so dirty." Musso played the role of Oliver Oken, best friend to Miley Stewart (aka Miley Cyrus) and self-proclaimed "Smokin' Oken." Ironically, though, his outfits were far...

In an age of mass shootings when the debate over gun control rages on, some recent films, such as Jessica Chastain’s new film “Miss Sloane” tackle the subject head on. Another new film “Sins of Our Youth” also explores this topic, capturing the intersection of gun culture and foolish adolescence. The film follows four teenagers who accidentally murder a younger boy while shooting off assault weapons recreationally, and the perilous decisions they make in the aftermath of the murder. In a moment of desperation and fear, the four teenagers drunkenly construct a plan reminiscent of a video-game plot, but it’s only a catalyst for more confusion and pain. Watch an exclusive clip from the film below.

Nobody wants to admit it, but the TV shows you watch as a kid help shape your personality as an adult. Sure, there are lots of other factors, like your friends, family, and siblings, but for kids who were allowed television time -- or sneak-watched while at a friend's house -- TV shows were a vital part of shaping your worldview. From "The Powerpuff Girls" kicking butt in Townsville to the magic of the "Wizards of Waverly Place," kids shows that are no longer on the air were downright fascinating. Well, most of them.
That isn't to say kids' shows today aren't just as awesome as the classics. There's always "Adventure Time's" brilliance or the galactic plot lines of "Star Wars Rebels," but nothing compares to watching Miley Cyrus pretend to be two different people with only a wig to tell "them" apart. Of course, child stars grow up,...

Disney star Debby Ryan has been arrested for DUI.
The 22-year-old actress, best known for her roles in Jessie and The Suite Life on Deck, was apprehended by police after crashing her Audi into a Mercedes in Los Angeles at the end of last week (April 8).
TMZ reports Debby was given a field sobriety test before being arrested for felony driving under the influence (DUI).
The driver of the Mercedes claimed an injury, prompting the felony charge, which a police source explained to the outlet was standard procedure.
However, Debby's charge was dropped to a misdemeanour after only just failing a Breathalyzer test. The injury to the other motorist was said to be minor.
The star now has two criminal offences against her name; one for driving under the influence and the second for driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher.

Read More: Screen Media Films Picks Up Fantastic Fest Hit 'Darling' Monarch Home Entertainment has picked up the creature horror film "The Sand" for domestic release on October 13, just in time for Halloween. Mitchel Musso, Jamie Kennedy and Brooke Butler star. "This movie was an intentional effort to take a beloved and niche genre, and elevate the story above contemporary expectations," says producer Gato Scatena. "We're proud of this one. After an all-night graduation beach party, a group of hung-over students wake up under blazing sun to find their numbers somewhat depleted. An enormous alien creature has burrowed down deep and anyone foolish enough to make contact with the sand finds themselves at the mercy of a sea of flesh-eating tentacles.
Can you say Blood Beach?
Ok so maybe that’s not fair. After all Jeffrey Bloom’s 1980 fear-flick, despite having a similar premise – something eating people on the beach, dragging them under the sand – is world’s apart from the gory body-horror of Isaac Gabaeff’s film. Whereas that film often played for oddball humour both intentionally and unintentionally, The Sand plays things very straight.

Musso Lands Plea Deal In Drink Driving Case
Former Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso has avoided possible jail time in his drink-driving case after agreeing to pay a fine and enrol in an alcohol education class.
The 20-year-old actor, who played Oliver Oken on Miley Cyrus' hit Disney show, was preparing to head to trial over an arrest in Burbank, California for reportedly failing a breathalyser test in October.
He faced up to six months behind bars and a $1,000 (£625) fine after recently pleading not guilty to two counts of driving while drunk, but Musso has now reached a plea deal with prosecutors to put an end to the case.
On Friday, the star appeared in a California court and pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit of 0.08. In return, he will be sentenced to 36 months of informal probation and be ordered to pay a fine and complete an alcohol awareness course.
In a statement released to TMZ.com, Musso says: "I appreciate the court allowing me to resolve my case in the manner it did today. In becoming an adult, I have learned first hand that stepping up and taking responsibility is the best way to move forward.
"I am especially thankful to my family and fans for their unwavering support and encouragement. I am glad to now put this in the past."...
