Lashel Wilson(I)

Lashel Wilson was born and raised in Hackensack, NJ before moving to Baltimore County in Maryland after graduating high school. She also goes by Spunkyy Brewster. She is a multi-talented artist and has dabbled in everything from acting to music production to podcasting to writing and more. She taught herself how to make beats when she was 22. She had her own podcast called Kool Kids Radio that ran for two years with 4 seasons from 2015 until 2017. She is very passionate and she is huge on being a team player. She is the person you can count on being able to call the day of your shoot because your lead didn't show. She will give 111% every time. She got her feet wet with acting back in 2001, in her 9th grade drama class. She found her way back by way of a friend working as a casting agent for an author turned playwright's first theater production. She auditioned and was offered the lead role of the play. It was an exhilarating experience for her. She went on to be a part of 3 more plays, each of which she did at least twice. She had a reoccurring role as Magenta in an all black shadowcast of the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show named The Chocolate Covered Rocky Horror. Their rendition has become a fan favorite amongst the Rocky Horror crowd and they put on shows twice a year. The shadowcast was mentioned in Rolling Stone Magazine as well as USA Today. She has filmed a handful of movies, a web series, a documentary about black women and a few music videos. She loves to participate in any and all creative pursuits she's able to be a part of.
