Xena Stryker
- Actress
Xena Stryker is an Actress and Architectural Designer. Xena's father named her Xena to honor Malcolm X and spent much time teaching her the beauty of art. Family members changed her name to Jasmine, but to honor her father's wishes, Xena changed her name back. Growing up in Columbus, Georgia, Xena's father highly encouraged her to pursue architecture as a career. She excelled in academics at G.W. Carver High School, which afforded her an Academic Scholarship to Tuskegee University in which she earned a Professional Bachelor of Architecture.
After graduating from Tuskegee, Xena taught High School and College Architectural Engineering. She began working at Architectural firms full time in 2014 and earned the nickname #ArchitectBae. Xena, AKA #ArchitectBae, coined the nickname by designing and producing construction documents for over $475 million in city, state, federal and private architectural projects. Surprisingly, Xena auditioned for her first speaking role on her lunch break. She drove to Tyler Perry Studios, changed clothes, auditioned for producers and writers, then drove back to her architectural firm and humbly resumed drawing floor plans as if nothing happened that day. After receiving her first Principal Acting role, Xena decided to pursue acting full time while earning her Executive Master of Real Estate Development from Auburn University. Xena is a 2022 Graduate of Urban Land Institute's Project REAP and University of Colorado Boulder's Real Estate Finance Program.
