- Theater, television and film actress from Puerto Rico. While studying drama at the University of Puerto Rico she played Olga in "Summer folk", Melibea in "The Celestin", The Mother in " Six Characters in Search of an Author", Belisa in "Belisa's Fastidiousness", The Countess in "El castigo del Pense que"; que", and various characters in "The Laramie project". All of them directed by Dean Zayas for the University's Traveling Theatre. Trained in boxing, stage combat and fencing. Since her outstanding performance in the musical "Noah's Arc" she has been doing musicals for children. In professional theater she has performed in "Asdrajur", "Horror Tale", "The Ortíz Sisters" and "The Promise". The last one being the first production of Promesa Corp., her Company. She was the lead in two feature films: "Expiration Date" and "In Between". Starred in more than 10 movies for television, such as: "Crazy for love", "Birth", "Open 24 hours" and "The other Mafia", to mention a few. Throughout her career she has been the principle image in print and voice for important companies. Caratini recently moved to the City to continue expanding her horizons in acting. - Jazmín Caratini is an actress born and raised in Puerto Rico. Her love for the craft surfaced in her early years, and by High School she was already performing and dancing. After obtaining a B.A., majoring in Drama, at the University of Puerto Rico, she trained in boxing, stage combat and fencing. Soon after, she was acting professionally and was admitted to the celebrated Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre in New York. She was cast in leading roles in many plays and films in PR. By 2009 her career was really taking off. Jazmín performed in the most important theaters of Puerto Rico and Off Broadway in NY. She has been very active on TV, Films, and Onstage; were she was honored with various nominations for Best Actress in Theatre, both in PR and NY. In her work in Films she has received Best Leading Actress nominations in prestigious Film Festivals; Milan International Film Festival (2016), Berlin International Film Festival (2017), Europe Fusion Film Festival (2019) and recently Best supporting Actress in Madrid International Film Festival (2020). Caratini moved to Los Angeles to continue expanding her horizons in acting. On October 2020, she appeared in the drama Súbete a mi Moto, premiering on Amazon Prime, the story of Menudo, the most popular boy band in the 80's in Latin America.
