Kasie Renee Yu is an Asian-American actress, makeup artist, and entrepreneur, known for her versatility both on-screen and behind the scenes. Raised in Rosemead, California, Kasie discovered her passion for performance early on, often entertaining on the front porch of her childhood home.
Kasie's career spans various artistic disciplines. She excelled as an athlete in volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, and drill team during her youth. Her love for the arts led her to explore dance, acappella singing, and musical theatre in high school, where she appeared in productions such as Grease (Patty Simcox), Guys and Dolls (Principal Dancer), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), and The Boy Friend (Maisie).
After studying art and photography in college, Kasie further honed her skills at the Makeup Designory (MUD) School in Burbank in 2009, specializing in special effects makeup, hair, and beauty. Her talent in makeup artistry led her to work on the groundbreaking show Face Off during its first and second seasons, contributing behind the scenes as part of the shadow crew. She also applied her expertise as a makeup artist for the film Two Jacks and worked on Super Bowl commercials from 2009 to 2011.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Kasie is a multifaceted entrepreneur, owning a small family business in the flooring industry. Her entrepreneurial spirit extends to modeling, fashion, and photography, where she showcases her creativity and vision at various events.
On screen, Kasie has showcased her acting chops in notable films such as Maggots (2019), portraying the character Amy, and Gallery Row 2 (2021), where she played Cassidy Wilson.
