Chandradasan

Chandradasan (born December 1958) is an Indian theatre and film actor, director, writer, and translator from Kerala, India. Has acted in 12 Malayalam films and 1 Tamil Film. Chandradasan, is the founder and artistic director of Lokadharmi Centre for Theatre Kochi. He is a designer, director, actor, playwright, performance writer, editor and translator. He has designed and directed more than 50 plays in various languages. He is recipient of the Fulbright- Nehru Fellowship for professional and academic Excellence, Senior Fellowship from the department of Culture, META for best play, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy award, best playwright award by Kerala Bala Sahitya Institute, etc. He is a retired professor in Chemistry from St. Alberts College Ernakulam. His Ph.D.is for the thesis titled Spacing the Actor, in Theatre/Cultural Studies from the department of Fine Arts, Kerala Kalamandalam
