Rosemarie Benson was born in Basel and grew up in Zurich, Switzerland. She attended the Literargymnasium Rämibühl in Zurich where she won the VEGL-Prize for her Matura Project, a 2D and 3D animated film, "Opia - Animation einer Fantasiefigur". She received her BA degree majoring in 3D animation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and is now a 3D animator at Pixomondo in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
