Cyrus Peinado

Cyrus Peinado grew up in Antioch, CA and moved to Long Beach, CA in 2015 to attend CSU Long Beach. In 2019, Cyrus graduated with a BA in Communications and a Minor in film.
During his time at Long Beach State, he took several classes about Sound Design for films and worked on a number of student films, where he did the sound design and musical composition. After graduating, he worked as the Assistant Sound Designer for "African Drivers: The Lion Lights Story". In 2021, he completed the Sound Design for the independent films, Adrift & Alone and played Taishokoto as part of Tex Miller's score for "Adrift".
In 2020, Cyrus released Smoke Circle's first album, Smoke Circle, an instrumental album where he plays synthesizers, the taishokoto, drums, and produced the album. On February 22, 2022, Cyrus released Smoke Circle's second album, Smoke Circle II, which features elaborate arrangements of trumpet and flute harmonization with synthesizer and taishokoto by Cyrus.
Mr. Peinado works in the Real Estate Industry and continues to work on Music Composition and Sound Design freelance.
