Guga Gelashvili

Giorgi Gelashvili known as Guga Gelashvili is a Georgian film director and composer. Interest in art and film industry had from early ages, when started studies on a film & theater studio on age of 15 and at the same time actively studied music from Private teacher Roman Goshadze, started with electric guitar, after a year of studying guitar, discovered a huge interest in composing and arranging. With a huge effort of his teacher he start discovering a new ways to figure out what is the role of composer in music, after building his own studio at home, began scoring and practicing in composition, soon he got his first orders to write original music for TV commercials, short films, documentaries, etc. Graduated from Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University on bachelors and masters degree on Film directing. while university studies at the same time he was writing music for student short films, TV commercials, ads, etc. From 2018-2019 worked as a composer in a music production company "Composer Squad". Work as Film Director continues in short films and documentaries. In 2022 Guga Gelashvili founded a film production company "Again Films" which is tailored to make movies about Orthodox Christianity topics. He is actively works in film industry as well, also works for Commercial videos for famous brands.
