Ahsabul Yamin is a young Bangladeshi independent filmmaker. His passion for storytelling drives him to present the world from unique perspectives, constantly pushing the boundaries of cinema. In 2018, he made his debut short film, "Lost Stories," which reflected his own experiences and desires as a storyteller.
In 2019, Ahsabul Yamin gained widespread national and international recognition for his single-take short film, "Bish Pipra." The film captivated audiences and garnered much appreciation. Building on this success, he directed two more short films in 2021: "Joshua Surjosen Jordan Baske" and "Durjatra." Both films are currently available for streaming on an OTT platform.
During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2021, Ahsabul Yamin completed the shooting "Jaay Jaay Din." This project showcases his resilience and commitment to filmmaking even during challenging times. Furthermore, he has demonstrated his versatility by writing and acting in the acclaimed series "Shaaticup" in 2022. The series received immense praise from audiences and critics in both Bangladesh and India.
In addition to his narrative works, Ahsabul Yamin has also explored the realms of documentary filmmaking, commercials, and music videos. His films have been showcased at prestigious national and international festivals and various art spaces.
Currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in film and media studies, Ahsabul Yamin is in the process of developing first feature film.
