Bronston Jones is an award-winning director and world-traveling stand-up comedian.
Bronston recently directed Darius Rucker's "Beers and Sunshine" music video. The video hit #1 on CMT and was nominated Best Male Artist of the Year. Bronston directed also directed hit videos for Uncle Kracker and X-Japan. He created award-winning spots for the Olympics on NBC. Bronston has directed television stars, drivers of NASCAR, rockers, talkers and two actors with Oscars. Bronston's favorite shoot was a behind-the-scenes mockumentary of a clown-and-kid commercial: "MaxiDoodles: behind the makeup." The festival darling skewered the Ad Biz, then, in perfect ad biz irony, it generated more work than all his big budget spots combined.
Bronston performs stand-up from coast-to-coast and across-the-pond. He is resident host of Venice Underground Comedy, LA's biggest west side weekly show. Bronston did eight separate Edinburgh Fringe solo hours. Some critics loved him. Some hated him. LA Weekly called him "certifiably unique," which could go either way. You probably didn't see him on WEtv or TruTV, or watch his special "She Has to Take this Call" on Amazon Prime. He apologizes if you did. Cleanse your palate with his Caged Egg role for Animals Australia.
Since 1995, Bronston produced over 300 commercials, music videos, TV promos and film shoots. He produced for Madonna, Mary J Blige, Michael Jordan, LeBron, NAS, NASCAR, NBC, WB, Fox, Sony, Lexus, Coke and so on and so on. He's produced simple sit-down interviews and giant car-crash explosions; he's done underwater wonders and rainy dance numbers; plus green-screen stage effects and blue-sky beach sunsets. Bronston has produced all over North America, plus Jamaica, Canada, Tanzania and Tarzana...
