Joe is a multi-hyphenate director, writer, and producer, best known for his work as the EP/ Showrunner/ Director/ Writer/ Co-Creator of the youth action series Detention Adventure (2019), which ran for 3 seasons on CBC/HBO MAX. The series was nominated for 15 Canadian Screen Awards, winning Best Youth Series, among others. Joe has been nominated for two Writers Guild of Canada awards, a Banff Rockie Award, and won the 2020 Kidscreen award for Best Series.
Joe recently directed 3 episodes of the upcoming Amazon series Dino Dex (2024), produced by the Emmy award-winning production company, Sinking Ship, along with 8 episodes of the one-hour docudrama series Mission Unexplained (2023) (Discovery+), produced by Blue Ant Studios.
