Skyler Chavira, raised in South Pasadena CA, started working on the 3x Oscar nominated film Lady Bird, as an assistant his junior year of High school
His education began at The Los Angeles Film School Fall of 2018. He graduated with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business of Entertainment and Cinematography and transferred to USC in spring of 2021, to pursue a career in the Film and Documentary industry. While in college Skyler, networked and collaborated on sets at other institutions such as The University of Southern California, Santa Monica City college, The University of California Los Angeles and Chapman Dodge college.
He is most known for his role in Citizen (2017) as head Marketing Manager, in which the film received 5 festival wins and 18 official selections.
Based in Los Angeles he now works on sets from shorts to documentaries in the camera and lighting department.
