During her college days, she played Christina Crawford in a parody movie of Mommie Dearest (1981) with classmate Nelson Aspen as Joan Crawford.

Graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in theatre studies.

In the mid-1980s, she worked as a telephone sales operator for Telecharge in New York City.
