Brent Gutierrez is an American Actor born in Houston, TX. He attended San Jacinto College where he majored in Theater and Film. Coming from an Entertainment Family, Brent was mentored in stand-up comedy, first, by his father, Danny Martinez ( owner of The Comedy Showcase and Nationally touring comic himself) and a never ending flow of Stand-up comedians from all over the Nation. In the year 2001 Brent moved to Los Angeles to attend The Howard Fine School of Acting. There he continued his study in the Stanislavski method under the teachings of Howard Fine. His acting pursuits landed him roles in the movies : "American Sniper", dir. by Clint Eastwood; "Paranormal Activity": The Marked Ones, dir. by Christopher Landon; "Dutch", dir. by Preston Whitmore; "CounterPunch", dir. Kenneth Castillo and the award winning indie Film Starring Bella Thorne, "Shovel Buddies".
Brent co-starred along side actor, Kirk Baltz, in the Austin film festival award winning Horror/Thriller short "Demon", dir. by Caleb Slain. Noticed by film director and award winning writer Joe Lam, Brent was cast in the 50 time award winning short Thriller "Fugitive Zero". Brent's role as "Casper aka Carlos Ramos", earned him 5 Best Supporting Actor awards.
Brent's Television appearances include roles in mega Television hit shows NCIS; NCIS Los Angeles; Raising The Bar with Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and with Kevin Hart, on the BET hit comedy show, "Real Husbands of Hollywood".
