Nitanee Paris is the Director of A&R at ArtistMax, an artist development and education enterprise founded by Grammy-winning producer Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac, Colbie Caillat). She is also the owner and Creative Director of the micro-sync label, Great Minds Sync Alike, and the Managing Partner at Marshmellow Skies Studio, which earned a 2024 Grammy Award for their work on the album, "Joni Mitchell at Newport", and where she was recently the Executive Producer of the immersive audio album "Gravitationally Bound", by world class jazz guitarist, David Becker.
Paris is an award-winning songwriter whose work has been featured in TV, films, and commercials. Her credits include: Paramount, CBS Sports, CMT, Netflix, MTV, Nickleodeon, VH1, BET, Bravo, The CW, Hulu, Viacom/CBS, Comedy Central, the Hallmark Channel, Apple Fitness, Peloton, NFL Football, and Dignity Health, and her work has been signed with multiple publishers, libraries and licensing agencies.
Paris is a voting member of the Recording Academy, and a music industry mentor in the 2024 Grammy U Mentorship Program. She is an Adjunct Professor of Songwriting at Cal Lutheran University, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Songwriting Festival. She is on the Judging Panel of the Intercontinental Music Awards, the Mentor Staff of the Durango Songwriters Expo, and the SongArts Committee for the Society of Composers and Lyricists. She hosts music and charity events and produces "Nitanee's Nashville Nights" in Los Angeles, a showcase for hit songwriters and local talent, and the ArtistMax showcase at the iconic Hotel Cafe in Hollywood for new artists from around the world. She also hosts songwriting retreats including a castle retreat in France, where she leads workshops and creativity expansion exercises.
As a collaborator, Paris works with notable writers including Grammy and Emmy award-winning musicians, composers, and producers, Songwriters Hall of Fame and Musicians Hall of Fame Inductees; as well as contestants on The Voice, Songland, and America's Got Talent, and many other talented artists around the world. She has a passion for mentoring young writers and helping artists navigate the music industry by building their craft and expanding their networks.
