Ayana Jones(I)

An Atlanta based independent producer with a specialization in Location Management, Ayana Jones has expertise in operational logistics, location work, organizational skills, time management and a mastery with leading teams. Ayana received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Winthrop University and worked as an Assignment Editor for the #1 New Station in Charlotte, NC, WSOC-TV. Ayana found herself wanting a change from the news world and began her transition into film. She received her MFA in film production from Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts, where she met a trusted team of filmmakers that lead her to create independent films. While studying at Florida State University, her focus was Cinematography and Producing. She had an eye for capturing images and putting them to life on the screen. Her thesis film, The Coop, showcased her talents in producing. She put all her efforts into creating a short film with production value and world building while maintaining a tight budget. With her passion for producing, she has carried her skills from her previous producing experience over into the Location Department as an Assistant Location Manager. With her knowledge in locations and producing she is ready to bring forth new voices with compelling stories.
