The vampire thriller Stake Land has already released into theatres and on cable. Now, two more character trailers are available, which show the apocalyptic atmosphere of Jim Mickle's latest horror production. The first clip is over six minutes long and "Mister" (Nick Damici) wanders back onto his family estate. Tragedy awaits him. Also, in the second clip, titled "Sister," Kelly McGillis' character is the the focus. As a nun, she buries the hordes of vampires, who are foolish enough to trespass on Church grounds. Twitch Films is showing the latest film clip from vampire horror film Stake Land. This film envisions a United States ruled by bloodsuckers and the clip below shows character Mister (Nick Damici), with Martin (Connor Paolo) fighting off a creature of the night. This reel is for mature audiences, as the early seconds show an infant being devoured by a dried up villain. This clip, being called "Farm Attack," is visceral and violent and suitable for those 18 plus.

There are two more character prequels available for Jim Mickle's Stake Land. The first is titled "Willie" (Sean Nelson) and the second is named "Jebedia" (Michael Cerveris). Both clips are meant as teases for the film release and therefore, they are tense but slow. The reels will give viewers a sense of the environments in which these characters travel, as well as some of their motivations e.g. religious (Jebediah) and familial (Willie). IFC Midnight is partnering with Mpi Media Group to release director Jim Mickle's Stake Land to horror audiences April 22nd. This film has already won the Midnight Madness Audience Award at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival (Dark Sky) and fans will not have to wait long to watch an entire world engulfed by vampires, with both a theatrical and VOD rental available in two short weeks.
