- Pedro Miguel Arce was born in 1976 in Managua, Nicaragua. He was an actor and producer, known for Land of the Dead (2005), The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) and Polar (2019). He died on December 9, 2022 in Toronto, Canada.
- Played offensive line for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues football team and a member of the 1993 National Championship squad.
- Trained under Peter Chassikos of Toronto in Jeet Kune Do (JKD), a combative mixed martial arts based on attacking while one's opponent is about to attack. Proficient at stopping a fight before it got out of hand, Pedro became a sought-after bouncer in the clubs of Toronto. It was while working as a bouncer one night that he was discovered by an acting agent.
