Actor Colin Egglesfield, known for his roles in All My Children and Melrose Place, has revealed that he is facing cancer for the third time.
In a statement shared on social media, Egglesfield opened up about his diagnosis and his determination to confront it with a positive mindset.
Reflecting on an interview he gave at 25, Egglesfield recalled saying, “It’s not the hand that you’ve been dealt because you can’t change that. It’s how you play the cards that counts.” He shared that this perspective has helped him navigate life’s challenges, including his recent prostate cancer diagnosis.
Egglesfield emphasized that his cancer was detected early, and after thorough research and consultations with doctors, he decided to take proactive steps by undergoing surgery. He expressed gratitude to his medical team and supporters, stating, “Thank you to everyone else who has supported me and extended your well wishes!

Nearly 20 years after his first cancer diagnosis, actor Colin Egglesfield has been diagnosed with the disease for a third time. On Monday, January 20, the All My Children star posted a selfie outside the City of Hope Cancer Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and announced that he has prostate cancer. “Thankfully, we caught my prostate cancer early and after a year of doing a lot of research and talking to quite a few health care professionals, I elected to be proactive and have surgery,” he shared. Egglesfield called it a “scary time,” but thanked the doctors and nurses at City of Hope for how “instrumental” they’ve been. “Hopefully this is a reminder to everyone that you’re not alone with whatever you’re facing and that it’s important to advocate for yourself and your health which includes checkups, seeking information and asking for help when you need it!” he continued.

Released in 2011, Something Borrowed was a rom-com adaptation of the bestselling 2004 novel of the same name written by author Emily Giffin. Directed by Luke Greenfield and starring Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin Egglesfield, and John Krasinski, Something Borrowed tells the story of a woman named Rachel (Goodwin) who ends up sleeping with her best friend's fiancé on her 30th birthday, which starts an affair. It's an enchanting film covering the messiness of friendship and love, and it ends with the words, "To Be Continued...", leading many to believe Something Borrowed 2 would soon follow.
It's always nerve-wracking when a film ends on a cliffhanger with plans for a sequel, given that there is no guarantee that a follow-up will ever be made. For Something Borrowed, it felt like a sequel would actually happen, especially since there is a second book to pull from, titled Something Blue (2005). Duchess' outdated script fails to subvert sexist tropes or deliver on the female empowerment promised. Despite trying to embrace female empowerment, the movie still falls prey to the male gaze. Scarlett's journey to anti-hero status is overshadowed by her dependence on a male savior.
If you've ever wondered what a remake of Pretty Woman written and directed by Guy Ritchie would look like, then Duchess (2024) is the film for you. The only problem is that Duchess contains none of the verve and vitality of Ritchie's early London gangster movies, and its gender politics often feel less progressive than the 34-year-old Julia Roberts movie. Co-written with star Charlotte Kirk, Neil Marshall's movie tells the story of Scarlett (Kirk), a lowly pickpocket who falls in love with diamond smuggling gangster Rob (Philip Winchester), until tragedy forces her to rise up the criminal ranks.

Neil Marshall's new film Duchess is a thrilling revenge story set in the world of diamond smuggling, starring his life partner Charlotte Kirk. Marshall drew inspiration from classic crime movies of the '60s and '70s to create a fresh style for the movie, which includes intense action sequences and a dark sense of humor. Marshall also reflects on the 2019 Hellboy reboot's failure, still lamenting the production, but expressing gratitude at the cult following it has since amassed.
Neil Marshall is back in the action genre with the revenge thriller Duchess. Marshall is best known for his work in the horror genre, though always bringing an action-oriented twinge to his movies, having first broken out with the 2002 werewolf thriller Dog Soldiers and the spelunking classic The Descent. The years since have seen Marshall tackle a variety of genres, typically with an action flair, including the historical thriller Centurion,...

Plot: Follows a tough, working-class, petty criminal who morphs into an anti-heroine to be reckoned with in a murky underworld, in the treacherous world of diamond smuggling.
Review: Ever since Dog Soldiers/The Descent, I’ve stood firmly by, waiting for Neil Marshall to enter that next level of filmmaking. He’s always had such a fantastic visual style that is easy to identify when watching any of his films. And his sensibilities always felt a little off the beaten path, which I love. But with his partnership with his fiancé, Charlotte Kirk, I’m worried that’s just never going to happen. Because if Duchess is any indication, he seems content just making mediocre fare with Kirk as the lead.

A revival of ’90s hit “Melrose Place” is in the works at CBS Studios, with original stars Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton set to return, TheWrap has learned.
The Darren Star-created night-time soap followed the complicated lives of several 20-somethings who lived in a Los Angeles apartment complex called Melrose Place, where the drama included a bombing, a drowning and a “Dynasty”-esque pool fight.
Locklear played advertising exec Amanda Woodward, whose addition to the show late in the first season helped boost ratings at the time. Zuniga played Jo Reynolds on the series from 1992 to 1999 while Leighton played Sydney Andrews, sister of Josie Bassett’s character Jane.
Lauren Gussis of “Dexter” and “Insatiable” fame is set to write and executive produce the revival, which would see the “Og residents” returning when one of their friends die. Per the logline, the reunion “uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances,...

"A Rose for Her Grave" is a chilling Lifetime movie based on a true story, adapted from Ann Rule's book about the real-life crimes of Randy Roth. The lead cast delivers exceptional performances, with Chrishell Stause and Colin Egglesfield capturing the sinister nature of the characters. Randy Roth's crimes involved suspicious deaths of his wives, with evidence pointing to insurance fraud as the motive, and he is currently serving a 50-year prison sentence.
The Lifetime original movie A Rose for Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story is yet another of the network's "Ripped from the Headlines" films, but how much of it is true? Released in 2023, the made-for-tv movie follows Lori (Chrishell Stause) a woman determined to get to the bottom of the mysterious death of her best friend Cindy (Laura Ramsay) and she suspects Cindy's husband Randy (Colin Egglesfield) has something to do with it. John Carpenter's 1998 film "Vampires" -- based on the 1990 novel "Vampire$" by John Steakley -- is 30% vampire movie and 70% Western. It follows a cadre of ultra-masculine, cussing, toxic badass vampire hunters who wear black clothes and treat women like garbage. They are led by a snarling jerk named Jack Crow, played by James Woods, and you may insert your own joke about savvy casting here. This team of vampire hunters is sponsored by the Vatican and receives a hefty payout every time they infiltrate and exterminate a nest of bloodsuckers.
In this universe, vampires hide in desert shacks during the daylight hours, and sometimes merely bury themselves in sand. They are all ghoulish monsters immune to crosses, holy water, and garlic. The vampire hunters stalk into said shacks and fire wooden stakes into vampire chests with specialized harpooning equipment. The hunters also attached tethers to the vampires, then activated a winch outdoors,...

Lifetime’s new movie A Rose for Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story tells the ripped-from-the-headlines story of notorious murderer Randy Roth. More than three decades ago, Roth was convicted of killing his third wife, Cynthia Baumgarter Roth, in 1991. He’s also suspected of killing his second wife, Janis Roth, in 1981, though he was never tried for that crime. Now 68, Roth is currently serving a 50-year sentence in a Washington State prison.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days may be one of many beloved rom-com feature films of the late 1990s and early 2000s, but movies like this are now all but extinct.
The past two decades have experienced a shift from major movie studios making romantic comedies to lower-budget streaming services churning out similar types of content. While many rom-com fans can get their fix on cable platforms like Lifetime and Hallmark, rom-com feature films like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, attached to big Hollywood names won’t be coming to a theater near you anytime soon.
The decline has been attributed to a number of factors, including an increased focus by Hollywood studios on larger-budget superhero blockbusters and a lack of fresh ideas beyond sequels and reboots.

Selling Sunset realtor Chrishell Stause wants her followers to know that she is versatile when it comes to style.

Chrishell began her career acting in soap operas, and she’ll be costarring in this latest film with fellow All My Children actor and pal Colin Egglesfield.

Variety has been given exclusive access to the first-look images from Neil Marshall’s action crime thriller “Duchess,” starring British actor Charlotte Kirk, who was linked to the downfall of two Hollywood moguls. Principal photography is in its third week on the movie, which is shooting in Tenerife.
The film is co-written by Marshall and Kirk, the creative duo behind “The Lair,” which opens London’s horror and fantasy film festival Frightfest next month.
Marshall’s credits include “Game of Thrones,” for which he received an Emmy nomination, “The Descent,” for which he won best director at the British Independent Film Awards, and, most recently, 2019’s “Hellboy” and 2020’s “The Reckoning,” which also starred and was co-written by Kirk.
Kirk became front-page news in Hollywood after her extramarital affairs with Kevin Tsujihara, at that time CEO of Warner Bros., and Ron Meyer, the then vice chairman of NBCUniversal, led to their dismissals.

Stars: Sylvester Stallone, Matthew Modine, Christopher McDonald, Ryan Guzman, Meadow Williams, Colin Egglesfield, Baylee Curran, Jenna Willis, Heather Johansen, Swen Temmel | Written by Mike Maples | Directed by Brian A. Miller
Directed by Brian A. Miller and written by Mike Maples, Backtrace stars one of the most famous actors of all time, Sylvester Stallone and Matthew Modine. Modine plays Macdonald, a bank robber who can’t recall when he hid millions of dollars, and a bunch of people want to know the answer to the riddle. Stallone plays Sykes, a cop who, along with Franks, an FBI agent played by Christopher McDonald, are out for information about what’s going on. The premise is simple, it doesn’t really attempt to be more than it is, and this is, without frills or excuses, an action crime movie. Hell, within the first five minutes there’s been more bullets fired than a Walking Dead finale.

For those of you who have been craving a new Sylvester Stallone movie, here’s the trailer for a new action crime thriller called Backtrace.
He plays a detective in the story which follows an amnesiac criminal, played by Matthew Modine, who is injected with a a drug that allows him to relive the events of his life that he's forgotten, in order to find some money that he stashed away.
It doesn’t really looking like anything special, but if your a fan of Stallone, you might want to watch it just to watch it. Here’s the synopsis:
After suffering a brain injury from a bank heist gone wrong, MacDonald (Matthew Modine) develops amnesia and is put into a prison psychiatric ward. Following his seventh year in evaluation, he is coerced by an inmate and a ward doctor (Ryan Guzman & Meadow Williams) to break out of prison and...

"Stay sharp. These guys will kill for what they're after." Lionsgate Premiere has debuted an official trailer for an action crime thriller titled Backtrace, starring Sylvester Stallone as a detective. This cops & robbers flick is about an amnesiac criminal, played by Matthew Modine, who is the lone surviving thief of a violent armored car robbery. He's given a drug that forces him to relive the life he's forgotten, in order to find the money he hid. The film's full cast includes Ryan Guzman, Meadow Williams, Christopher McDonald, Colin Egglesfield, Lydia Hull, Tyler Jon Olson, Sergio Rizzuto, and Swen Temmel. We've seen so many of these throwaway action movies, and they pretty much all look the same every time. So much screaming and intensity and gunfire in this glimpse. As always, at least the trailer is free to watch. Here's the new official trailer (+ poster) for Brian A. Miller's Backtrace,...

"You want to talk with somebody, you talk with me!" Lionsgate Premiere has released an official trailer for a B-movie action crime thriller titled Reprisal. Don't get too excited, even with these two action stars, this movie looks like shit. Surprise, surprise. There's so many of these direct-to-the-bargain-big action being made movies recently, that it's getting kind of annoying. Why!? Why keep making them? What's the point? Who even watches these? Frank Grillo stars as a bank manager haunted by a violent incident in his past, who teams up with his ex-cop neighbor to go after the people behind it. Of course, they then mess with his family and he gets really upset. What an original idea... Ugh. Bruce Willis co-stars along with Johnathon Schaech, Olivia Culpo, Colin Egglesfield, Wass Stevens, and Natali Yura. This movie looks so bad. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Brian A. Chicago – You know you’re in trouble when the opening scene of a film inspires forehead slapping levels of incredulity. And that’s just the beginning of what I felt while watching “The Space Between Us,” another entry in the long line of would-be weepies about young lovers torn apart, usually by class or disease.
The film desperately wants to be a millennial love story for a generation, and has plenty of faults but precious few stars in its tale of literal star-crossed lovers.
