Bernhard Floedl is an actor and businessman known for his work in action films. He was born in 1965 in Austria and moved to Manila, Philippines in 1985, while also maintaining a second residence in Europe. During the mid 1980's to late 1990's, he gained recognition for his performances in over 30 US, European and Asian produced films, where he worked alongside famous actors like Richard Harris, Donald Pleasence, Susan Sarandon, Robert Davi, Chuck Norris and Richard Hatch. While still keeping in touch with entertainment industry insiders, Bernhard later ventured into the business world, working as a consultant for major Philippine corporations and as a supplier to Philippine Airlines.
Throughout the years, Bernhard Floedl has maintained several passions, including vintage American muscle car restoration, cinema, and collecting art. He has become a well-known art collector with a passion for various forms of art. His interest in art began in the 1980s when he started collecting Philippine Tribal Art and has since built an extensive collection. Late 1980s his love for art continued to grow, and he began exploring other forms of art, leading him to collect modern and contemporary art.
Through the years Bernhard's interest in art has taken him to various international art fairs, where he had the opportunity to meet and connect with reputable art galleries and other art collectors. He has used these experiences to expand his collection. His passion for art has led him to plans to build his own private art museum to showcase his collection in the future.
