Patrick Jordan is an award winning cinematographer with twenty years experience shooting drama, documentary and commercial projects with bases in London and Dublin.
Recent drama work includes Season 2 Block 2 of 'Signore Volpe' starring Emilia Fox & Tara Fitzgerald in Italy and produced by Route 24 / Cattleya for AMC Networks' Acorn TV, 'The Vanishing Triangle' starring India Mullen & Allen Leech for Virgin Media & AMC Networks, four part series 'The House Across the Street' starring Shirley Henderson & Craig Parkinson and 'Tarrac', a feature directed by Declan Recks which won 'Best Cinematography in an Irish Film' at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2022.
Notable comedy work includes six part comedy series 'Faithless' starring Baz Ashmawy produced by Grand Pictures and distributed by Abacus Media Rights, due to broadcast in early 2024, 'The Young Offenders', both the feature film and TV series, commissioned by BBC 3 and 'The Other One' Season 1, a six part comedy series produced by Tiger Aspect and broadcast on BBC1.
Documentary projects include 'While you Live, Shine', a feature length film about ancient music, shot in Greece and the US, and released on Netflix & Amazon Prime, 'John Forde - Dreaming the Quiet Man' directed by Sé Merry Doyle and 'The Dead Zoo', a documentary on the rebuilding of Dublin's Natural History Museum.
Patrick has shot two Oscar nominated short films, 'Pentecost' and 'Detainment', and has been nominated twice for an IFTA. In 2014 he won the Donal Gilligan Award for Best Cinematography for the short film 'Volkswagen Joe'. In 2022 Patrick became a member of the Irish Society of Cinematographers.
Patrick has shot music videos for artists such as Lankum, Sinead O'Connor and have a great deal of experience shooting commercial & brand films for a diverse range of clients with projects shot in UAE, Japan, Africa, India, US and Europe.
