Figment
- Composer
Figment is an electronic music producer, DJ and host of The Not Figment podcast. He was named one of "5 Unique And Original Upcoming Techno Producers To Watch In 2020" by BuzzFeed and one of the "Artists From the EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon Who Stole the Show" alongside Zhu, Voyd, Nicole Moudaber, and Claude Vonstroke. Figment was also the winner of Insomniac Record's Discovery Project which took place during EDC's Virutal Rave-A-Thon, receiving more votes for his live performance than any other artist who participated.
To support his desire to create, Figment has developed a beautiful studio full of rare modular synthesizers & analog equipment. While other artists in the techno genre frequently turn to gimmicks to create mystery and buzz around their name, Figment built a reputation as an artist who prefers to let the music do the talking. Just a few weeks after arriving in Southern California without any industry connections, he caught the attention of major promoters such as Insomniac who immediately started booking him for events at LA's flagship nightclubs Exchange and Academy. Figment's personal branding sets him apart as an artist who has used digital media to take his career into his own hands, building an audience of more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.
Figment is a rare example of the modern-day artist who no longer needs to rely on anyone else for his success. He has quickly become one of the most popular and sought after DJs in Los Angeles. The "Not Figment Podcast" has been streamed in more than 100 countries and is available on iTunes and anywhere podcasts can be found.
